  The door to my room was broken and with the door locked you could easily access the room by sliding a credit card in between the door frame and lock. No room key required! I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk clerk who told me there was nothing they could do about it. The hotel deserves more than 1 star but having to bring my belongings with me each day because the room was not secure, overshadowed every other aspect of my stay.

  Nice and newly constructed but the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything going on in the next room.

  The hotel itself looks great as it has been updated and looks clean and modern. Issue itself comes to the little things that made it feel like not a premium hotel. First, there were kids stomping around everywhere, most notably over my room which made it hard to sleep or nap during the day. Second, the refrigerator icemaker was broken so it kept spilling ice in the freezer all night with a loud clutter making it impossible to sleep at night as well. These things may be different when you stay here, however it led to a pretty poor sleeping situation for me. Outside of that, it also kind off made you feel like a second class guest in the building as the holiday inn that's attached is where you have to go to request keys to go to the pool or use the gym which is in the pool area. It was really annoying to have to constantly do that to get some exercise or enjoy the amenities. Finally, the restaurants and club were both on the holiday inn side as well which could be bad if it really passed the noise to the rooms, however not knowing if that were the case, it just felt like it was a huge hassle to enjoy those things. Finally, the entrance for the hotel was all the way in the back of the site and you have to go the long way around to a dead end in order to reach the lobby. It may as well be a love hotel since that is such a dead end and private entrance that no one will see you since you have to be intentional to wander back there. At the end of the day, it was an affordable place to stay that is near a lot of destinations so it served its purpose, but I wouldn't be staying here if I wanted a nice relaxing or luxurious stay.

  The room was very comfortable, the only thing I did not like is that they do not clean the room Every day, they clean it only once a week

  Always a pleasure coming to Candlewood. Joe at the front desk is amazing and very attentive. The manager Melissa is great. Housekeeping always does a good job rooms are clean and well maintained. Great prices for great rooms and great atmosphere. Would recommend to everyone. Overall great experience feels like home.
