- BRBeth R5 days ago2.0Checked in after 7pm. Thermostat on wall in room has no effect on the temperature. It's on Cool, I have it set to 66 degrees, but it's actually 77 degrees in here, either with Fan on Auto or Fan On.

- JPjoseph plazaAug 11, 20263.0Barely a 3 star location. The building looks ok same with the guest rooms but if you look a bit closer you see that this is really a 2 star property. Dust and dirt on every hard surface in the room. No mattress bags on the beds, the AC vent has enough dust to make a sweater out of if. The fridge was rusted out in the rear and smelled off. The bathroom vent again covered with months worth of dust. Plus the room is so Tiny its smaller then a standard IHG room. Random damaged things all throughout the whole property chairs w tears, stairs missing there carpet, stained tiles, trash filled trash cans that need emptied, Dead plants near the front entrance that look horrible and not welcoming- Meh landscaping in general. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly it there is only so much he could do. The location has a pool ( with 1 towl in the room), a gym, a sundries shop with surprisingly fair prices most items are $1.00. A large coffee area and a little breakfast nook. Its colorful and pleasing to the eyes but thats about it. I won't be coming back anytime soon to this Avid location.
