Their website will allow it, but they will cancel your reservation without speaking with you because they do not want to honor lower government rates. This is the only hotel I have ever experienced this with. I am already in the road heading there when I was hit up with an email and the cancellation notice. They also do not want to honor free award nights. I will lodge a complaint with IHG over this truly poor representation of their brand. had to scramble to book a different hotel.
