  My wife and I were in town for the All-American AQHA Congress competition and expo. We stayed at the Hotel at Hollywood Casino in Columbus. The hotel was exceptional and rooms were comfortable and clean. I appreciate the front desk and casino host Sandy for accommodating us. The casino floor was exciting and food options were great.

  BE WARNED: Using digital ID here seems to be based completely on the discretion of the door attendant. During a recent visit I was turned away after stating I use my digital id to validate myself. I was turned away, and told the digital id scanner did not work and I was told I needed to leave the property. I exited the Casino and called Security. I called them to ask when they thought the digital id service may be functional, and they said it was functional, and asked if I was the patron turned away for digital id. They asked me to return and 'retry' my id ( having not had the opportunity to try it) I entered again, and the door woman immediately called security. Thankfully it was the same gentleman I spoke to, and we tried my digital id with no issues. I only use digital id based on advice from helpful staff members from previous visits. Food here is excellent. I highly recommend Dirty Franks if you'd like something quick, but I don't think you can make a wrong choice. The only downside to food here is the lack of options that are open into the early morning. Game selection is diverse, even on a slow night it seems they make a good effort to provide a variety of table games. My only complaint is many of the black jack tables are a $25 / hand. Staff is always extremely polite and helpful. Love Hollywood Casino and can't wait to be back!

  My Experience at Hollywood Casino Columbus About four years ago, I was playing a slot machine at Hollywood Casino Columbus when my money got stuck in the machine. I called for assistance, but when casino staff arrived, they accused me of damaging the machine. I asked them to show me the surveillance footage to prove their accusation, but they refused. I felt that I was treated unfairly. Instead of helping me resolve the problem, the casino accused me of damaging the machine and banned me from returning. I was never given a satisfactory explanation or an opportunity to see the evidence against me. This experience was very disappointing. Customers deserve respect, fair treatment, and transparency, especially when they ask for help with a machine that has held their money. I hope casino management takes customer concerns seriously and reviews how this incident was handled. Based on my personal experience, I was very dissatisfied with the way I was treated at Hollywood Casino Columbus. Same time they banned me with casino.

  The hotel is neat and clean. I’ve stayed there three times. My only suggestion is to have coffee available in the lobby for early risers All three times the restaurant in the lobby doesn’t open til 7 am. I’ve had to walk around the casino at the beverage stations looking for coffee. This last time there were no cups at the stations. So I walked back and waited for the restaurant to open. I’m 69 years old and have stayed in many many hotels. There was always coffee available. It should be available and free. The amount of money people spend at the casino it would be nice to get a free cup of coffee in the early hours. I like to drink a coffee while playing poker in early morning. Instead I searched and found none and had to wait almost an hour for restaurant to open. I would have been gambling if I had that coffee.

  The atmosphere of the space is truly remarkable due to its welcoming and cozy design. It is clean and meticulously maintained to ensure a pleasant experience for all. There is an undeniable sense of comfort. Visitors are likely to appreciate the thoughtful approach taken to create such an inviting setting. It is clear that a great deal of care was put into the design. The room was amazing and the amenities were perfect...complimentary water, coffee maker, refrigerator, robes, and the towels and linens were absolutely wonderful. Definitely a nice getaway. The staff was incredible...smiling, attentive, friendly and professional.
