  Everytime I stay at the Polaris location I always feel like I’m family. I can count on cleanliness in the rooms and the entire facility. The customer service is Excellent! All the members are considerate and empathetic to the needs of the clients that frequent the building. In this day and age it’s just nice when working people remember your name Del has been most helpful in multiple way from check in to food destination in the area . My wife and I are thankful

  We stayed here on a Friday night when we visited my son's family who live nearby. My 4 year old grandson LOVED the mini waterpark pool area!! The full breakfast was fabulous and our room was very clean with very comfortable bed & pillows (I LOVE IHG hotel pillows!!) The staff was so professional and kind and very efficient with both check-in and check-out. Special thanks to Emmanuel, John and Del. We will likely stay again soon!

  I was here for a work trip and unfortunately Columbus had some bad weather. I woke up roughly around 12am and did not pay attention to the lights, but rather to the rain pounding my window. I woke up around 6am and realized the hotel had no power. I got dressed and had met my coworker, and we had to head down 7 flights of stairs with no emergency lights or any employees to help guide myself or the other guest down the flights of stairs. Massive safety concern, since I was previously a fire Marshall and safety manager. I believe this hotel should have another training on safety protocols. Myself or others should not be put at risk due to the lack of training or knowledge of these types of environmental conditions from the staff of a hotel.

  The rooms have been renovated and they look clean. The breakfast has a good spread. The location is convenient for anything near Polaris. They could add some more counter space. The ac is a little noisy. The renovation work seems decent, but my room had a half inch gap between the door and wall - making all hallway noise clearly audible.

  This is our 3rd stay at the Polaris Holiday Inn, and we'll keep coming back whenever we're in Columbus. The staff is the friendliest and most helpful of any hotel we've stayed in, including 4 star resorts. Extra special recognition to Emmanuel and Francine for helping us with an early check-in, room swap(lesson learned to book directly instead of through a 3rd party), and helped us with coordinating anything else we possibly needed. The huge swimming pool with slide and a few other fun water features is all the kids cared about, and probably where you'll be spending quite a bit of time too. 100% recommend for a staycation if full size waterpark rides aren't your thing.
