  我是8/20入住，当晚电梯坏掉，而我的房间在四楼，前台说没有空房了，我有一个重的行李箱，从楼梯搬上去对于长途跋涉的我实在困难，所以储存在了前台，称电梯第二天9:00会修好，但第二天上午我们出门的时候并没有修好。含餐的酒店确实便利，但8/21的早餐直到7:30才好，不是承诺的6:30。我一直在大厅等餐，中间看到带宝宝的年轻母亲等了很久。在我房间的卫生间看到小虫爬来爬去，我不知道是什么，马桶真的不太好用。房间的微波炉用不了，插上电线以后也用不了！从酒店出来上71号高速要左转，两边的车流量很大哦，要有耐心，安全最重要，STOP 标志是很有必要的。8/23我离开的时候留了小费，但是在我的账单却扣了$2.91，不知道是什么原因，是不是要说明一下啊！总之这次体验不好，下次再去哥伦布不会选这里了！ I checked in on August 20th. The elevator broke down that night, and my room was on the fourth floor. The front desk said there were no rooms available. I had a heavy suitcase, which was difficult to carry up the stairs, so I left it at the front desk. They said the elevator would be fixed by 9:00 AM the next day, but it wasn't. The hotel with meals included was convenient, but breakfast on August 21st wasn't ready until 7:30 AM, not the promised 6:30 AM. I waited in the lobby for breakfast and saw young mother with babies waiting for a long time. I saw small insects crawling around in my bathroom; I don't know what they were. The toilet was also not working properly. The microwave in the room didn't work, even when plugged in! To get to Highway 71 from the hotel, you need to turn left; the traffic is heavy on both sides, so be patient and safety is paramount. Stop signs are essential. I left a tip when I left on August 23rd, but $2.91 was deducted from my bill. I don't know why; should the hotel explain this? Overall, this was a bad experience, and I won't choose this place again next time I go to Columbus!

  My experience was disastrous. We showed up late evening, unloaded our car, and were immediately told to look for another hotel because the check-in system had not been working properly for nearly six hours. I had a nonrefundable reservation and had to pay more than twice for a room at a different hotel. In spite of multiple text exchanges and phone calls, both the hotel and IHG management have been - at least as of yet - unwilling to provide financial compensation. I was merely told that if we had waited long enough (two, three hours?), we eventually would have been able to check in. While I understood that electronic glitches can happen, it was the utter indifference and unresponsiveness of the hotel management and IHG that are galling, to say nothing of the extra costs that I had to incur. I have only been able to communicate with AI by phone or text in a futile effort to resolve the situation. To quote from an AI message I received: "I understand what you said, but I have not been taught how to answer your question ... yet."

  I made a reservation at this hotel in the morning and received a confirmation email. However, when we arrived at the hotel that evening, we discovered that the hotel was completely closed. We called the hotel and were told that they had cancelled all reservations without ever notifying us. This left us stranded in the middle of Columbus with nowhere to stay for the night. What made the situation even worse was the lack of professionalism from the person we spoke to on the phone. They offered absolutely no solution or assistance, despite the fact that we had a confirmed reservation. Cancelling a confirmed reservation without notifying the guest and then providing no help when they arrive is completely unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

  The first room had a broken safety lock. The second room the safety lock had been replaced at least once. The room's entry tiles were gunky and slippery from whatever cleaning solution they tried to use. The entry and bathroom floor tiles were cracked. The toilet seat was loose and my partner nearly slid off the can. I had to screw it in myself. The fire door at the end of the hall is supposed to close but doesn't. The elevator door track was filthy and stuffed with crud and fruit loops. The night guy "T.." was a real piece of work, but the morning desk person was nice. The rooms and overall maintenance could use a big upgrade. A sign in the lobby says they don't rent rooms to anyone within a 30 mile radius. Hmmm. You have to ask to have your room made up or get fresh towels. Was there supposed to be a bath mat? Location is on the edge of a changing neighborhood, but it is a less than a one mile walk past the street corner beggars along busy roads to the Ohio State Fairgrounds. Nobody broke into my vehicle overnight. Certainly NOT the best Holiday Inn Express in the system.

  This is the dirtiest and broken holiday inn express room I've ever been to. Thisbis far from a 4 star hotel its more like a 2 star hotel. In room 300 the bathroom has multiple spots with black mold outside the shower and black mold and pink mildew inside the shower. The towel rack previously fell off the wall and someone tried to use the landlord special and gobs of silicone to attempt to reattach it but it still falls off because its not anchored properly and the clean towels fell all over the floor. The first time we shut the bathroom door and tried to open from the inside, the door handle came right off in our hand when trying to open the door. I told the front desk guy about the towel rack and the door handle so we dont get charged for it. We stopped closing the door so we can get out safely. The shower curtain was ripped apart at the end of the curtain its like someone fell and grabbed it and it ripped but it was never replaced. The freezer of the mini fridge hasn't been thawed out probably since it was installed and literally is covered in 3 inches of thick ice and I had a hard time fitting ice packs inside the freezer. You can't remove the drip tray for the freezer because its encased in ice and there are food stains in the ice from who knows what because you cant clean the ice, you'd have to melt the ice to clean it so the fridge is unsanitary at best and has been that way for a very long time judging by the ice buildup. The desk lamp is broken and wont turn on. The ice machine on the 3rd floor is broken and you have to walk down to the 2nd floor. I took pictures but it appears this business doesn't allow me to post review pictures of everything that was dirty and broken. This is only the first night of a two night stay and after this I won't be staying here ever again. I recommend you try to stay anywhere else in Columbus. In my experience when a business won't let you post pictures its because they know there are problems and they don't want pictures to show how bad it really is. Its damage control. Instead of fixing the problems they just block pictures to hide evidence. The gentlemen at the front desk was very pleasant to interact with. I didn't ask for a new room but he didn't offer either. The location is close to the fairgrounds and thats why we stayed here. It shares an entrance with wendys and trying to drive in and out during wendys busy times is frustrating because wendys traffic exiting blocks the hotel traffic from entering and exiting the hotel which blocks traffic all the way out into the street. I was stuck in the street and couldn't t turn in and people were honking but we couldn't go anywhere. What a mess. Edited to add: The breakfast juice machine has no juice in it whatever you select its just water. Someone mopped the floor in front of the fitness center and didnt put up any wet floor signs and my daughter just slipped and fell on her tail bone and back. It hurt so bad all she did was groan for about 30 seconds. We scooped her up i warned all the other guests and we went back up to the room to use one of our ice packs. Thank you for ruining our day at the fair before we even got there. The only thing the staff suggested was to go to the second floor ice machine and put ice cubes in a towel. I called ihg corporate to try and create a case for this incident if we ended up in the emergency room. The same person answered the ihg rewards line and I was hung up on 3 times every tine she attempted to transfer me. It wasnt until I threatened a lawsuit and demanded to speak with a manager and they finally transferred me to someone that was allegedly a manager and gave me a case number. She said to stay off my phone because someone would be calling me back, I never got any calls back and I'm not surprised.
