  First room I was given, both beds had bodily fluids stained on the sheets, to include blood. Was given a new room upon request and the sheets appeared clean but the mattress cover had more bodily fluid stains on it. Walls and floors were dirty and stained. Breakfast wasn't very good. Front desk service was helpful and location was convenient right off the highway.

  Stayed there over the weekend of the Arnold Classic. It was affordable and very close to the Expo Center. I booked a 2 bedroom room. Upon entering one of the beds were pulled out and the box spring was smashed to the ground. I immediately told the front desk and they told me there wasn't anything the can do that maintenance will not be there until 11pm. Holiday Inn couldn't put me in another hotel because every placed was booked. Since I booked through a third party the only place who could give me a refund was the hotel manager which he refused. Not on the best area either. The low battery alarm went off in the lobby smoke alarm all weekend and the paper towel dispenser was empty so the just set what looked to be a stack of Wendy's napkins on the bathroom sink. Very unprofessional manager but it is what it is.

  My granddaughter booked a room thru booking.com, but got the wrong night. We showed up and the hotel was booked, we had stay somewhere else. Then we cancel the reservation and called hotel several times directly and hotel manager was rude, unprofessional and actually belligerent about getting something from booking.com, but book.com said they sent 2 cancel emails to the hotel. Manager said they never got it but we had canceled directly too! Don’t stay here!!! Lots good hotels, this one is a ripoff!

  We requested early check in but they had no rooms ready when we got there at 3:00. Then, while we were waiting in the lobby like 15 feet from the desk, they proceeded to give rooms to people that got there after us around 3:15. They started checking in people even though they knew we were waiting for our room. The elevator was broke the whole time we were there, so going up & down the stairs with our luggage was a huge inconvenience. Then their breakfast was a huge disappointment. They were out of pancake mix , so no pancakes from their pancake machine, which is something that Holiday Inns are known for. They also had no orange juice, bacon, sausage patties, or cheese omelettes. We spent almost $500 for a room here because of it being close to the Luke Combs concert at Ohio Stadium, but this was our worst Holiday inn stay ever. I hope they can get their act together for future guests.

  I am writing this to warn others: stay away from the Holiday Inn (Expo) in Columbus. My experience was, quite simply, horrendous. The hotel staff booked my reservation for the wrong dates due to their own misinformation, and when I tried to rectify the situation, I was met with a rude, dismissive "manager" who refused to take any responsibility for the team’s failure. Because of their error, the actual dates I needed became unavailable, causing significant stress and forcing me to scramble for a last-minute solution elsewhere. To make matters worse, IHG corporate support was completely useless and offered no help. This hotel does not care about its customers. I am still fighting to get my concerns escalated, and I will be avoiding IHG properties entirely from here on out. Save yourself the headache and book literally anywhere else.
