  Dishonesty at its finest! 3 night reservation ( Weds, Thurs, Fri ) at this Hotel for $911 confirmed for event at Ohio Expo Center. 3 days before my stay I called hotel and asked them to adjust stay to just 2 nights as we could not arrive the first night. Hotel Staff responded "no problem" see you Thursday. On check in I was charged $793 for what I was told was cost of our 2 night stay. Before check out was charged $798 as a pending charge on my credit card and questioned it. Staff told me it was a false charge on the stay and would fall off my card in 3-5 days. It is now a confirmed charge on my card. Called Hotel Manager and asked what is going on...she told me that the reservation change from 3 nights to 2 nights allowed them BY POLICY to up my per night rate ( without telling me ! ) !! ARE you Kidding Me! How does $911 for 3 nights turn into $1591 for 2 nights - and on top of that the darn Hotel is not clean at all ( dirty carpets, broken tiles, etc...) - just convenient to the event. Call National IHG Membership folks and they would not help - said its a local Hotel problem - and I then cancelled my long held membership to IHG Rewards. DO NOT stay at this hotel - they will fleece you and lie to your face. AND THE CHERRY ON TOP - Couple we were traveling with had same reservations we did and adjusted them the same and they were NOT charged any extra $ vs original reservation cost. Why the different approaches? Policy my backside HIE and IHG !!!! DO NOT STAY HERE !!!

  I NEVER write bad reviews. I consider myself a pretty positive person and try to be as understanding as possible. THREE days before my boyfriend and I are traveling to Columbus we get a phone call…. “Hey, we didn’t know there was going to be a concert in town on Thursday and we have to cancel your reservation.” We asked why? They said “Pricing issues. We have to raise the prices because we didn’t know the concert was going to be on Thursday”. Tried to nicely tell staff that we’ve had this hotel booked for WEEKS now. How can they just cancel our reservation?? They said we can pay $150 MORE per night or they have to cancel our reservation. SO BECAUSE THERES A CONCERT IN TOWN. THEYRE CANCELING OUR RESERVATION BECAUSE THEY WANT TO INFLATE THE PRICES AND WE PAID REGULAR PRICING FOR BOOKING EARLY. Why is that our fault !?!?!?! They absolutely refused to honor our booking and forced us to cancel unless we paid more.

  The rating this place gets is way over rated. The girl at the desk was nice. Nothing else though! Door has been kicked in, place is dirty and run down. Fine but we don't need to act like its a 4star like google says

  Refund the lady her money. It's crazy that you took someone's money for a reservation then told her that because she lived in Columbus, she was not permitted to stay there and you would not be refunding her money. The way staff handled this is horrific and I'll never book with a Holiday Inn for the remainder of my life. How you treat one guest says a lot about how you treat all of them

  I’ll be honest—I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the location, but this hotel pleasantly surprised me. The property was clean, the room was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and there was zero drama during my stay. The breakfast was better than many I’ve had at hotels that charge a lot more. Not fancy, not pretending to be fancy—just a clean, comfortable hotel that delivered exactly what I needed. I’d stay here again without hesitation.
