  Weekend getaway trip for my daughter and I. This was booked thru a third party sight. I requested a double bed and got a what looked to me to be a full size bed, the lady at the rest was very nice and changed it to double bed room. Beds are ok, room itself was ok nothing special about it. Telephone in the room does not work, there are no microwaves in the room and the safe is in the closet with the ironing board. Housekeeping came in on Saturday and only made up 1 of the 2 beds. While I am sitting here writing this review housekeeping just walk-in in my room with no notice, checkout is not until 12 and its 10:41AM, Why are they here walking in peoples room. I acknowledged her when she knocked yet she still entered, Thank goodness i was dressed. Close to a lot of restaurants and the highway.

  First to note we stayed two nights after driving 9 hours from Georgia. I think it's a great location for those coming from the airport, but since we did not I will at least give you a star for location. I am not really sure what others expect from an Express hotel, but my Husband and I had a horrible experience! It looks ok from the outside but someone crashed into the cement barrier as we noticed walking in...the entrance looked ok I grabbed lemon water then the next morning I noticed that the same lemon water was sitting out. It was never refilled or refreshed. I can tell the difference between refreshed or refilled being in Dietary Services. Then there was a sign that says "No outside food, drinks or alcohol." But on our first night around 11pm there was an Indian gathering of takeout bags and a lot of people hanging out in the cafe area. We know the smell of curry! THEN our room had a leak from the ceiling. My Husband is disabled so he didn't want to move after they changed our room after checkin additionally. They agreed to let us put a trash can under the leak. So whoever was above us...whenever they took a shower we got a leak. The tissue paper holder in the bathroom was loose so if you don't hold it a roll would end up on the floor...then the phone in the room was not working so we couldn't call the front desk. I had to change out of my retired clothes into something more presentable to walk out into the lobby. I am not sure if this is a franchise but whoever owns this location...if they were there I am very disappointed in them and if they weren't they are lazy and are allowing workers to run this place into the ground. Being close to the airport is convenient, but you definitely don't want people coming out of town seeing this as a representation of Columbus Ohio. Hence I was born and raised here! P.S. I forgot to mention breakfast. I don't care if it's clearly powdered eggs, I don't have to eat it but my Husband noticed the kitchen put new eggs in the old tray on the line instead of taking out the old tray. I guess they were not trained on FIFO! So the eggs, sausage and potatoes had an aftertaste which brings me to the assumption that these serving dishes were used as a refill and not a refresh. That's horrible! You are catering to loud and obnoxious pool party guests that have no concern of others staying in the hotel where they are pretty much getting hangover breakfast... I heard a little boy from a family who wasn't a part of the pool party who said "Mom this food smells funny!". You guys are not on the right path! Update: today is 8/31l/26 Someone that was not on site at this location of this hotel has addressed this and we were able to make an amends. I appreciate you guys reaching out and responding and resolving this problem and I wish you nothing but the best in the future. I will definitely check you out if need be when I come back home to Columbus, Ohio. Thank you so much!

  We stayed while road tripping from Illinois to VA. The price was fair and the pet fee was minimal. There were some inconveniences such as the elevator, they only have one and it is very slow and continually opened and closed or didn’t close at all. The rooms were spacious but felt humid and slightly damp. The bathroom in our room needed some TLC. Breakfast was basic but the employees were pleasant.

  I did not have high hopes at first. When you first walk in the lobby looks magnificent. Nice little amenities. The rooms however are worn. The carpet needs to be replaced. Kind of felt like a old Vegas hotel. The bed however was very comfortable. The televisions need to be upgraded. Lot of weird things like a telephone that does not work and it is not plugged in. But the staff was very friendly which is a big plus. I would go there again
