  Family of 4, 2 small kids. Lots of smoking at entrance. Only 1/3 working elevators. Ice machine broken on our floor. TV in our room broken. Fan in bathroom broken. Shower water pressure very low. Mildew in top of shower. Very strong aftershave smell inside room, but 7th floor hallway smelled like old cigarette smoke and old carpet. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Restaurant was never opened consistently. The ceiling was peeling and falling off. Had to ask both days for someone to replace towels even though we requested it when we checked in. It was a rough stay. We would not stay here again.

  The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I traveled for my work for 30 years and wouldn't stay at this hotel. Had to call the police because someone tried to break into our room. The front desk, they didn't do anything to correct the problem. The security at this hotel is terrible. This hotel is unsafe to stay at.

  The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the Greyhound bus stop. Otherwise, it was an extremely disappointing experience. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with hair left in the sink/ drain. But the worst part was the next morning, when the hotel shut off the water from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. without any proper warning. When I called the front desk to ask what was happening, they were very casual about it and claimed there had been a sign at the desk when I checked in. There was no sign that I saw, and something as significant as having no running water for four hours should absolutely be communicated directly to guests at check-in so they can plan their day accordingly. I have never experienced anything like this at a hotel. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and indifferent response from the staff, I would not recommend staying here

  i stay at this hotel every time i come to columbus and i love pretty much everything about it :) easy parking, easy check-in, clean rooms, and beautiful view. the ONLY thing i thought was odd was on one of my trips here we stopped in the restaurant for dinner and majority of the items on the menu were either unavailable or the waiter said he “did not recommend we get them.” so other than that, i love this place.

  Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in couldn’t even cover the basics like soap and towels. I arrived on Thursday no soap, no shampoo/conditioner. Called the front desk told me I needed to come down to get them so I did and after five minutes of the guy rummaging through a drawer he couldn’t find any shampoo so he gave me just conditioner. Friday no housekeeping, while I was out looking for ice, which was only working on the sixth floor, I asked housekeeping iwhat time they would be getting to the third floor they told me between four and five so I waited. I saw their cart on floor three, and they never came to my room so I had to leave for the evening without a shower because I had no clean towels. That night when I got back still no towels/still no housekeeping so I went down to the front desk. I told the guy there that I had I needed towels and coffee. He wrote it down. Told me somebody would bring it up. An hour later nothing, so I called again talked to a lady and she finally was kind enough to bring me up some towels and coffee for the next morning. I rode a charity event and got back to the hotel, still no housekeeping so I couldn’t take a shower so I went down to the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk understood my frustration called housekeeping gave me some towels and I went back up to the room about a half hour later he calls up and said that housekeeping is on their way up so I planned accordingly and waited on my shower so that they could do their thing and an hour later nobody shows. He calls back and asked if they showed up and I said no housekeeping again. Now I know it’s not two of the three people that I dealt with at the front desks fault, I know it is strictly whoever a Holiday Inn has hired to do the housekeeping, but come on Holiday Inn has been in business for decades. You would think they would at least have the basics like soap and towels covered at this point they obviously don’t care about their customers. I work for a major corporation and they’re who recommend this hotel on their list of hotels and I will be telling them the they need to remove it from their recommendations.
