  While service is good and the room was nice and clean, what keeps this from being five stars is the fact that they don't offer a continental breakfast. When so many other hotels offer full breakfast buffets for free the fact Holiday Inn is charging $14 for it definitely drops it star rating.

  Customers beware: this may be a convenient location downtown Columbus but beware. This is a Holiday in from the 80's.....WOW, shocker! I was greeted by panhandler in parking lot. The rooms do not have USB PORTS and the front desk person seemed like I was asking for something out of the ordinary!!! Hint for hotel mgr....a surge protector now has USB ports on them!! The front desk found a random charger in their desk and wanted my driver's license in order to use it!....come to find out, it didn't work!! I was destitute to charge my phone. I found a port on the TV!!!! I had to leave TV on all night for slow, full 100% charge. The front desk was clueless, more training needed. I did inform front desk about tv having a usb port. Maintenance delivered ironing board very late. Said he'd be back and never returned with a charger. The employees were apart of a special needs club.....more training please!! Room had no ironing board, hard matress, no working exhaust fan, light bulbs out in lighted mirror, the smallest sink and counter I've ever seen in my life!!...oh, my tooth brush fit!! Next, the bar....ordered Corona Extra listed on menu, I was told they were out! Also no buffalo sauce...they were out, no shrimp...served coleslaw with a spoon, had to request forks, plates...just common sense items. It was my birthday and I wanted a few things to go well. We will not be returning, listen learned! Room 212

  Only if you want to stay in downtown , you can prefer staying here..otherwise better options with little more is possible.

  We greeted them politely, but the night shift receptionist was rude and seemed unhappy. When we asked if they provided bottled water, she simply said no without even a “sorry.” The facilities were also quite outdated.

  The front desk gentleman Ed helped us check in and was very kind and helpful. The room is clean and there is burger place in the lobby that smells fantastic. Only here for the night on our way to Maine so I can't check out the other amenities
