Run don’t stay here the bad reviews are what is real I wish I would have listened to the reviews. Room 1 we got no air. Found a crusty dirty wash cloth behind throw pillow on chair . Wait forever to get anyone to fix the air I called down I went down and then called again was finally moved to a new room that was not any better . No bedding for the pull out couch went from a double room to a one bed with a pull out no big deal but my daughter needed a place to sleep and bedding . Had to go down stairs and get bedding and I had to carry that heavy stuff up myself . Went to open the couch and there was some kind of pill in the couch thank god my daughter didn’t find it . I told front desk about it they didn’t seem to care . The next morning at 4 am I was woke up to being hot because the air stopped working in our room I was. Highly upset because now this is room two and no air . The breakfast that we paid extra for was terrible not enough food to accommodate the amount of guest there. The pool was closed outside the hot tub you see in pictures isn’t there it’s now a slab of concrete. The front desk worker marine was terrible she needs to find a job that she doesn’t work with people . She was so nasty and rude she smirks and laughs in your face I should have known she was going to act that way when I checked in and she wasn’t welcoming at all . The hotel mgr is a joke he didn’t care about my concerns . If I wanted to stay Ina run down dirty place I would have booked a $75 a night hotel. This place shouldn’t be under the IHG brand I will be calling IHG and telling them to send an undercover in to inspect because this place is awful. Christopher better be glad I’m not an employee of IHG or he would be out of a job .

Quite possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in. First issue was the attitude given to me by the girl at the front desk when I called to confirm a special accomodation I was told I would be given by someone else at the front desk. She told me I wouldn't be given that accomidation, wouldn't listen to my explanation and instead handed the phone to someone else. That person listened and was actually able to confirm my accomidation. Upon check-in I was met by the same girl who still hadn't lost her attitude from the day before. The elevators were not working so we had to use a service elevator which was tucked back in the laundry room and 100°. The room had a king bed and a pullout sofa which wreaked of mildew and had no bedding for the sleeper sofa. The hallways on the floor we stayed on smelled of mildew and weed. Bathrooms were so disgusting... Shower wouldn't drain, toilets had to be flushed 2-3 times to completely flush. Ice machines were dirty and didn't even work on each floor. The outdoor pool looked like a swamp and was closed to guests in the hottest days of summer. The best part of the hotel is the lobby which makes you THINK you might have a good stay and the cleaning lady who was so sweet I wanted to tell her to look for work at another hotel. I stayed at this hotel with a number of other families due to a sporting event and every single family had the same issues with the front desk, the bathrooms, the rooms, etc. The health dept seriously needs to do an audit of this place. I might also suggest IHG remove their branding from this location if it is in fact no longer owned by IHG.

So I have stayed here a few times in the past and things were ok.
I will say the property is on the old side and in needed of a remodel to fit the Crown Plaza branding.
This trip I had no hot water in the morning. I advised front desk of this and was told that it went down some time overnight and a vendor would be out later that day to investigate. This didn't help me much as I was only there for one night. I asked at the front desk when I checked out if I could get something for the lack of hot water and was told that the manager was not in and she would have him issue a credit of some sort. I have had no contact from manager and was billed for the full rate.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. I honestly don't understand how it's still in business or why anyone would choose to stay here.
The problems started before I even arrived. I had reserved a specific room, but because the hotel had flooding, they changed my accommodations without notifying me. That's the first red flag.
When I checked in, they told me they would still be able to give me the room I originally booked. Great—I told them I was going to dinner with my daughter and would be back in a few hours. When we returned about three hours later, I was met by the same gentleman who had helped me earlier and a woman at the front desk. She informed me my room still wasn't ready, that I would not be getting the room I reserved after all, and told me that if I didn't like it, I could simply check out. That was red flag number two. Customer service was completely unacceptable.
I decided to give them 10 minutes while I looked for another hotel. Shortly afterward, a housekeeper came and let me know my room was finally ready.
Walking to the room should have been my warning. The elevator smelled terrible, and the seventh-floor hallway had a strong odor of mildew mixed with body odor. Unfortunately, it only got worse. As soon as I entered the room, I realized the carpet near the entrance was soaking wet. The room itself had a musty smell and looked extremely worn and outdated.
The final straw came when I went to brush my teeth and discovered there was no running water in the room. At that point, I packed my belongings, went back to the front desk, and spoke with a gentleman named Christopher. He offered little help and showed no urgency in resolving the situation.
I immediately checked out and moved to the Embassy Suites by Hilton, where my stay was a complete improvement.
I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Between the poor communication, rude customer service, foul odors, water damage, lack of running water, and overall condition of the property, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. This version is firm, factual, and detailed, which tends to make reviews more credible and useful to other travelers.

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK HERE!!
This was the worst hotel experience. The worst part was the staff. They are rude and unprofessional. When the housekeeper didn't provide towels I went into the hall and asked for face towels. She laughed at me and said no. I was confused so I ask again. She again said no. No explanation. I went to the front desk and requested towels. They said they would deliver some to my room. I still didn't receive them. At around 1AM when I was leaving the party I went to the front desk. They provided towels. I brought this situation to the attention of the manager, Christopher Ledchilk, and he had said, " we delivered towels." I told him that was not the case and that I personally picked up the towels. He simply said yes we did deliver them. He didn't offer an apology for the confuse. Which was all I really expected. He just kept repeating that the towels were delivered. I asked if he was calling me a liar and he stared at me. He never addressed the lack of hot water that I mentioned to him. He was more concerned with proving me wrong about the towels. He refused to give the name of his manager and was rude to my husband when he came down to inquire.
I will never stay at ANY Crown Plaza and will tell everyone I know to not support this specific hotel.
