  Renovations in progress. Smaller hotel. Customer service was attentive and friendly. Jacuzzi room was spacious. Sofa looked dated. Bed was comfortable.

  Unfortunately when we tried to check in, there was only someone that was in training and she had a problem with us and another person checking in. Once we checked in and went to our room came back out and then went back to our room, our keys did not work and there was back and forth with the front desk to try to get a key that worked. Finally a master key was used to get us into our room. Our biggest complaint was the bathroom. The bathroom sink was clogged and the water was extremely slow going down which was quite a problem for us. The shower was very hard to turn on because there was a lever missing. The whole bathroom needed to be redone. There was mold in the caulking and again needed to be redone. The breakfast was not the best that we have been accustomed to at all the Holiday Inn Expresses that we have stayed at. We travel lot and use a Holiday Inn Express a lot and are always excited to tell our friends and people we meet that this is the only place to stay. Unfortunately if someone was staying at this Holiday Inn Express for the very first time they would be terribly disappointed. I hope that they can get all their problems taken care of. However they are under some construction but I was told the room we were in was already renovated and it didn't appear to be so.

  A really nice place. Great location. They are just doing some renovations, but it's still a great place to stay

  If I could leave 0 stars i would. The front desk clerk was so rude. I walked in and nobody was at the desk so naturally I rang the bell on the desk. She scoffed and said I can see you guys as she came around the corner. When I tried to call her on it she repeatedly cut me off. So I scoffed and said a snide comment as I walked out the door. She followed me to my car and yelled at me, when I tried to respond she interrupted again and said she is deactivating my key and stormed into the lobby. I followed her back in and asked to speak to her manager. She ignored me went in her office and continued to ignore me. I reached out to IHG and when they contacted the front desk she came to my room and was rude again when I tried to respond she cut me off again and stormed off . The GM called my room and offered me a 20% discount woohoo. But he did cancel my 2nd night without charge as I was not going to stay there.

  My expectations were higher for the money I paid. Place is under construction and if this is a proffered environment then it is right place to stay. I was not warned about this construction at time of online reservation. I would definitely go to some other place. Breakfast- if you are on a rich carb diet this this is again right place to stay. Very disappointing.
