  This hotel was flat out a 100000/10! I travel very frequently for work, and I travel all over the eastern US. This hotel by far my favorite out of the two years I’ve been traveling for my company. Not only was the room extremely clean, the beds extra comfy, but also the staff was the bomb.com. The woman working the night shift, Mary, was the absolute sweetest soul on the planet. Most of the time, I arrive very late to my hotels (11 pm- 1 am timeframe) and most overnight staff I deal with are either very dry/slightly stand-offish, or quiet and don’t say much. Mary was so bubbly and friendly and I felt like we became best friends within the first few minutes! She 1000000% made my stay even more comfortable and always had me laughing on my early morning commutes while I was here. I will absolutely rebook at this hotel again the next time I’m in the area! Thank you Candlewood Carrollton for being an absolute fantastic hotel, my expectations were far exceeded. ☺️

  I stayed here a little while back for work. The rooms were amazing and felt extremely homey. The front desk attendants that I spoke with were both very kind, respectful and knowledgeable. The location was great for where I needed to travel to work-wise. The only downside, and to me it was a huuuuuge downside, is the housekeeping service. They only do it once a week, which is completely fine by me, but the individuals that do the housekeeping are very inconsiderate. I worked nights while out there and housekeeping would do their duties around 11:00-12:00 each day (at least on the floor I was staying on). They were unbelievably loud the entire time. I very much do not expect anyone to tiptoe around and whisper all day long in case someone is trying to rest - that’s unreasonable and I completely understand that. But housekeeping would constantly be yelling, slamming doors, ramming the vacuum (that constantly starts and stops) against the door, ignoring the “Do Not Disturb” magnets and still trying to get into the room, etc. It made getting rest from a daily 13 hour shift outside very difficult. I don’t think I would stay at this location again if ever given the option, due to this part of the experience. But I will say, if you plan to stay here and intend on working a normal human dayshift lol, you will most likely be very happy with your decision.
