  Staff was friendly l, rooms were clean. Breakfast not included. Horrible putrid smell coming from the restroom at night… tried to contact front desk, but phone in the room did not work. Almost left, but I was only staying one night. Backlight in the TV was going out.

  I am so impressed with the bew staff! What a turn around! I stayed here a little over a year ago and it was a nightmare. I got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant, the staff was terrible and I swore I would never return. I stay at holiday inns 3/4 of the year so that's saying something. Work brought me back. Upon arrival the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk attendant Colleen hurried away to assist another guest so the Gm Jen stepped up to take over. I began to tell her of my hesitation of staying here after she greeted me as a diamond member. She assured me as the new GM that she had turned this place around and even encouraged me to try the restaurant again. I did, and the food and staff were complete opposite. So much improvement that the following day I had to tell Jen that her staff were amazing. When I asked to speak to the gm Maddy informed her she was still here, and Collen went right to get her. Even Nikki the sales manager came to see why someone requested the gm to try and help if there was any issue that could be resolved. Followed by Amanda and Ms. Betty shortly after. All the interactions were top of the line, and the service would make you think this was a 5 star hotel. Whether you're looking to book a party with Ms. Betty, need assistance from a sales side from Mrs. Nikki, or even just to have the best service from anyone of the IHG. You should come here if you're in Canton. Absolutely fabulous job. IHG should be proud of all of you. I WILL BE BACK. FRANK

  I want to recognize Dakota at the Holiday Inn Canton Belden Village. He was extremely thoughtful and helpful during my stay. He listened, took the time to understand what I needed, and followed through. That kind of care is rare, and it made a real difference for me. Dakota is a credit to this hotel, and I hope management recognizes him for it.

  Great experience thus far though i am a bit perturbed by one of the shuttle drivers. Older white man, works the early evening shift getting off about 830 or 9. Forgot what he had said. I requested shuttle service which is included in my package. Yes, its upon availability which is understood. However, the front desk had let me know he's not had any requests and has been waiting in the lobby for several hours. One would think he would be thrilled to get a request. Due to an earlier experience where my party and I had to wait 45+ minutes for them to even answer, we called as we were closing out the bill. Almost immediately following our call to shuttle service, one of us stood outside awaiting pickup. The moment he came into view, all four of us were standing outside. This entire experience occurred less than 6 minutes after we called. He was very cold with us. Wouldn't speak other than letting us know he's very busy and we should call when we are ready and he had circled 4 times. Impossible. Come to find out, he wasnt very busy and was more keen on getting off 45 minutes early. I appreciated the service but he was very rude and wouldn't accept an apology for our supposed wrongdoing. All other staff have been wonderful at this location. Rooms clean, quiet. Just dont expect decent shuttle service.
