  I'm making the room a 2 not due to comfort or cleanliness, I needed a category to warn people about the fire alarm. I have stayed here 6-8 nights in the past 2 months and experienced 3 fire alarms ruining sleep. The walls are also paper thin. Steam from showers sets off the alarms due to a bad room design. The breakfast is standard H. EX which is as good as the attendant. This place has a very good breakfast lady who stays on top of things. My few interactions with the front desk were always friendly and attentive. Location is what it is as this is a rural area. Bring ear plugs and hope once you fall asleep you aren't awoke in a rush to a false alarm. Be aware, even after it's shut off, firemen knock on all the doors so don't go right back to sleep. Once they ruin your sleep they make sure it stays ruined.

  Nice place,.. no amenities, such as vending machines, no ice on second floor,… but,.. was treated well, Phy from housekeeping, and Dorothy were fantastic.

  Chad, on duty at the desk tonight 9:30pm Thurs 13 Aug 2026, at the Holiday Inn Bucyrus, Ohio is outstanding. Excellent customer service, fast, efficient. You need more like him. Clone him, give him a raise, a promotion, out him on management fast track

  Love this Holiday Inn. All the staff is wonderful, particularly Sheila and Chad. I stay 2 nights every week due to my job and am very happy with my room and the facilities. It is always clean. Some of the rooms are a bit dated, but the hotel is in the process of being renovated. Great place to stay at a reasonable price :)

  This Holiday Inn is trying to remodel and maybe there can be some new updates to this outdated facility. The room was clean and beds were somewhat comfortable. My reason for 3 stars is because there were no USB ports for phone charging. The telephone in the room was so outdated. You had to connect to the motel internet with your mobile phone in order to watch TV. I did not like having to do that so we didn't use the TV at all. The shower head had a greenish spots on it and looked old. The Continental breakfast was decent but could have used more attention to when empties needed refilling. The coffee machine was fantastic and coffee was good. For the price we paid for the room, I was disappointed at the lack of more modern amenities. It was at least pretty quiet though I did hear someone's dog bark a couple of times. I'm guessing this location is pet friendly.
