  Definition airport hotel. They expect you to come, sleep, leave. The breakfast feels like “ok fine HERE” and the service is absolutely abysmal. Showed up an hour after check in, no clean rooms. They have to move our room. The manager looks us in the eye and goes “this happens a lot”. Ok? Fix it that is your job! Each front desk interaction with different people was more infuriating than the last. If you work in service, you must be ok to serve and work. They did neither. No bugs. So that’s why I say 2 stars. Everything else, TRASH.

  This is the second time staying at a holiday in express and I am very impressed staff in both locations one in Denver and the other in Cleveland were excellent very very helpful if there was an issue took care of it right away with a smile when I book my future trips will be staying at the holiday Inn express

  Convenient location, very fast and friendly check-in process with a clean and comfortable room. Blackout curtains, quiet AC and free breakfast were super. Very close to the Redline train to downtown for concerts and baseball games. Highly recommended.

  Exactly what we expected from Holiday Inn Express. Clean room, nice pillows, good hot showers, quiet upgraded Ac/heat, small workout room, good hot coffee all day, breakfast included (9:30 seemed a little early to end breakfast on the weekend but we were informed at check in so no surprise. ) Hospitality from staff at the hotel was 10 of 10! We were treated like we were at a luxury property! Rish greeted us and other guests with a big smile and pleasant words no matter how busy they were. I watched Donovan work so hard to keep the breakfast area stocked and clean and he was beyond kind and accommodating even as folks continued to stroll in for breakfast over 30 minutes past the time the service was scheduled to end. Also shout out to Andrew for keeping the common areas tidy and making guests feel welcome as well. Would definitely stay again, close to fairground events! Only wish is that the pool opened a wee bit earlier than 10, so you could get a swim and still have enough time to comfortably shower and check out by 11.

  I stayed here last month. I want to begin by saying that the stay as a whole was fine. The room was clean, it was nice, and it served its purpose for the weekend stay. However, what was NOT fine - is that the pillows (all four of them) REEKED. I mean, they smelled FOUL. It wasn't the pillow cases - it was the pillows themselves. The first night, we kept smelling this awful odor and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We thought maybe it had be the blanket, but it wasn't. It wasn't until the next day that we realized it was coming from the pillows! And when I say the odor was foul - I mean it was foul. Absolutely terrible. And how can you not smell it when your head is lying directly on those odorous pillows? It affected my sleep each night. Every slight movement would release that nasty odor. I had tried calling the desk to request different pillows, to which I was told there were no other pillows, and to put a towel over the pillow. Lol. Well.. that isn't exactly great either when the towels aren't soft. Aside from the pillows, everything else was great, but the pillow issue was a huge issue. If you plan on staying here - bring your own pillows.
