  I have IHG status and stayed 1 night midweek when I requested a late checkout, which was granted. However, the next morning, the staff was rude and repeatedly pressured us to leave sooner, including having housekeeping wait outside the room despite the approved late checkout. The hotel also does not provide “Do Not Disturb” signs, despite allowing pets. While the rooms are being renovated nicely, the lack of hospitality and respect for the late checkout policy was disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

  The rooms are newly renovated and nice. The bathrooms are small, but the room is spacious with a small kitchen. The staff is very friendly. I'm not excited about the location, but there's plenty of places for eating and shopping.

  Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. I booked one night through Super and checked in without any issues. While I was at the front desk, I explained that I needed two additional nights. The staff told me they could accommodate me, but I decided to check rates online first. I found a good rate through Super and booked the same hotel for the next two nights. That's when the circus started. First, they told me they found the reservation and everything was fine. Then suddenly they couldn't find it. Then they realized I had booked through a third-party site and got a discounted rate, and the attitude changed immediately. The staff started freaking out, repeatedly saying, "No, no, no, we don't take that here." I called Super while standing in the lobby because even they were confused by what the hotel was telling me. Super asked for a reason they couldn't honor the reservation so they could process a refund. I went back to the desk, and after more confusion, the hotel once again assured me that I had a room for the next two nights and that everything was taken care of. Apparently that was a lie. At 8 AM the next morning, right before work, I was informed that I did not have a room after all. After repeatedly telling me I was booked and everything was fine, they suddenly decided I needed to leave. Their solution? They tried to walk me over to an Extended Stay down the road that costs about $100 less per night than this place. So they were perfectly willing to charge premium prices while delivering bargain-basement service. I demanded a refund and booked the other hotel myself. As if the reservation disaster wasn't enough, the room was filthy. There were ants everywhere. Not one or two ants—enough that it was impossible not to notice. Cleanliness clearly isn't a priority here. The customer service was somehow even worse than the condition of the hotel. Every interaction felt hostile and disorganized. Even the general manager was rude and dismissive for absolutely no reason. I've stayed in cheap hotels, expensive hotels, and everything in between. Mistakes happen. What I can't excuse is being told three different stories by three different people, having my reservation status change every few hours, and being left scrambling for a place to stay before work. This hotel is unprofessional, poorly managed, dirty, and completely incapable of handling a simple reservation correctly. Save yourself the headache and stay literally anywhere else.

  Very concerning that staff want to make a physical copy of your ID and credit card to “keep on file” instead of every other IHG hotel. Explained I’d be working nights. Had a wildly late night and didn’t arrive until 5am for check in. Now at 9:30am the room next door is getting a remodel or something fixed that is requiring the very extended use of a sawzall or something similar. Do not stay here! I have a funny feeling your personal info is going to be sold or used.

  Awesome hotel. Staff is great, rooms are nice & clean. WIFI is amazing. I travel 2-3 weeks out of the month, every month, so I stay in hotels most of the year. Usually WiFi is terrible or very spotty at these hotels & I have to use my own WiFi - the Candlewood WiFi has been an outlier. No issues at all. The staff has been super nice, I’ll be staying here next time I’m in town. Highly recommend.
