  I will say this is a perfect across the street truckstop hotel, and what I mean by that is is this place is nasty. You could smell wet dog in my room and that wasn’t just wet dog from being in there. One time pets have been in that room over the years the place is nasty. The carpets are stained with grease and dirt. I didn’t see a cleaning person the whole time I was there and the rooms nothing’s been changed in it since the hotel was built probably in the early 2000s. The only good thing was that it was located close to where I needed to be will never ever ever step foot back in this hotel the smell was horrendous in our bedroom.

  My best friend & I were in town for a wedding and the suggested hotel next door was under renovation so we picked this one. Niko was the best part about this place. She answered all of my questions, was pleasant whenever we seen each other and she addressed our concerns as best she could. The room itself was large and comfortable but we went 3 days without hot water. It was warm enough to brush your teeth and wash your face but the temperature was disappointing. By the second day we complained to the front desk, twice by noon & was told maintenance would be over. Which he did come by but insisted that the water was fine. After driving over 8 hours we thought the welcome bag wouldn’t least include water but it had 2 pieces of candy and a bag of pretzels which I was also told weren’t provided on weekends. This was our first time staying at a candlewood suites & highly likely the last.

  I travel for work, so I'm in a lot of hotels. The rooms were clean and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Ms. Deone at the front desk makes you feel like family and greets you "welcome home". I was there for about 3 weeks. One of the few time you hate to leave a place.
