  Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express property at Woodside during Sep-2026 for a work trip. Very comfortable stay with no issues. The room was clean and relatively new with a comfortable bed, sofa and work table and chair. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Amenities on site included laundry (although I did not use it), 24-hours coffee and tea, plenty of sitting space for work, calls, meals, etc.. Located on Queens blvd, with a bus stop within 100-meters and a 13-minute walk for the nearest MTA station, which I used every day as my work was in Manhattan. Good options for food and shopping nearby. Included breakfast was good quality with a sufficient choice of options. The staff was courteous and helpful, especially George on the reception desk. He helped me a number of times during my stay: billing issue, amenities, receiving packages, locating 'mis-delivered' packages. I saw many other guests also knew him by name and he was helpful to them too. I will probably stay here again if I travel to NY.

  When we booked we were promised a shuttle which was the only reason we booked. The halls stunk of weed when we got there, they refused to get us a shuttle, saying that they canceled the service and would not be refunding us any type of our money. Holiday Inn also refuses to take responsibility for not communicating with their customers when changes occur cause with that amount of time when they canceled their service, we could’ve found a new hotel that offered the services that we needed. Also here’s an update for you the word complementary means at any time they can cancel the service without notifying their customers that’s great service

  This place should really take pride in their establishment. Room was great and very clean. Breakfast was really outstanding given it being a hotel breakfast and the woman watching over the breakfast area was so polite and really kept that area clean for everyone. I definitely would stay here again!

  This review is not so much about the Hotel, but about Holiday Inn hotel and resorts customer service and website. I booked directly through the Holiday Inn official web site. When I got to the location the hotel was not as displayed in the photo on the website. It was photoshoped removing all the surrounding residential bulidings, main streets and unpleasing backgrounds leading one to believe this property was in a good location. When I arrived there where people hanging out near the garage. I pulled into the garage which was extremely small and dark. I chose not to stay at that location. So, I called Holiday Day Inn HIG to cancel the reservation and they to me I did not book a reservation with them. I gave them the reservation number and after an hour they told me I booked with a 3rd party called Agota and gave me a phone number. I explained that i booked on their website and they told me that they can forward reservation request to 3rd parties. Agota also told me I didn't book a reservation with them, after another hour they conveniently found my reservation. They refused to cancel and offered to change my hotel and a future free stay, I declined, so they hung up on me. When I called Hoilday Inn back they told me i have a reservation with guest reservations another 3rd party agency who also told me I didn't have a reservation after awhile they found it and refused refund. Again, I did not enter the hotel, but the area was enough to inspire me to book at a different hotel with the Hilton Inn Resorts. I won't be using Holiday Inn Any more because of the lack of customer service and courtesy.
