    Clean hotel, lovely staff, breakfast inclusion really helped as otherwise that area didn’t have a lot of options unless you want a bit of a walk. Parking was expensive but roadside parking worked out for us. It’s a bit far out although not far from the subway

    The breakfast was good and the facilities were clean, but I am extremely disappointed with their billing practices and customer service policies. Due to a flight cancellation caused by severe weather, I could not check in on the first day. I notified the property in advance via Hotels.com and ended up staying only 1 night out of the 2 nights originally booked. While I understood that the first night's room rate was non-refundable due to their room holding policy, the hotel charged an additional 'No-Show Fee' to my registered card without any prior notice. Charging an extra no-show penalty on an already fully paid reservation is an unacceptable double charge. When I requested a refund through Hotels.com, it was rejected citing the no-show policy, and my request for an official receipt of this extra charge has been ignored for days. I deeply regret Holiday Inn's unfair double billing and complete lack of transparency during an unavoidable weather disruption.

    Great front desk reception staff. Near transportation into Manhattan or Flushing Meadow Park,US Open Tennis, CitiFfield Baseball Mets.

    Room would of been perfect if it didn't smell like feet. We had two rooms and both had the same issue. Having carpet in a pet friendly hotel and a place where guests walk in the streets for most of their stay is not a good idea. Other than that happy with the choice.
