  This day is applicable for the night of Thursday July 23rd, room number 105. We stay in Watertown often as a way stop and previously booked through the Hilton app for the Garden Express and the Hampton Inn. After a day or two at this particular IHG hotel, we were initially pleased and chose to book here as an alternative. This particular stay was not pleasant or restful at all. This room is on the ground floor directly behind the kitchen. That room had a pervading aroma of cooked bacon, which if you were a carnivore may not have bothered you (we are vegetarians). It was very pungent. Second of all, doors started slamming at 3:30 in the morning. It continued at 4:00, 4:30 and onwards.... Apparently the outside corridor is used by staff, kitchen and housekeeping. So from 3:30 onwards we got no sleep whatsoever. Slam. Slam. Slam. The room also needs updates. We were assigned a handicapped accessible room which did not matter to us ... this room has a step over tub and shower curtain instead of a walk-in shower. It would be difficult if we were handicapped. Upon handing in the key, the woman accepting it just mumbled "thank you". No query as to how we enjoyed our stay or did we wish a paper receipt. And consistency would be appreciated. Other hotels we are handed complimentary water bottles for being club members. We received nothing here, even after my inquiry. We left, very disappointed.

  I stayed at this hotel with my wife and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The front desk staff was very respectful, friendly, and professional. In particular, the young woman at the front desk, who had pale skin and visible tattoos, was exceptionally kind and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and was always happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

  Located in Watertown New York, it is close to downtown and the Public Square and lots of restaurants and shops and close to Fort Drum. The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, my socks did not turn brown walking around. Checking in late the young lady at the desk was extremely helpful and provided lots of information on local restaurants. Breakfast in the morning was great. Not exactly a lot of options but it was hot, it was prepared well, and the only drawback was they didn't have different flavors of tea available. What they had was decaffeinated, not exactly what you want in the morning. They have what they call a fitness room, but there's nothing in it, I would not rely on it to stay on an exercise routine. You're going to have to go to a local gym. Parking was excellent. Overall the location and the service was outstanding, I strongly recommend this hotel.
