  This best western has some gems working for them. Sincerely some of the best and consistent customer service I’ve had with a hotel chain. Always stay here when visiting Syracuse. Shout out to Erica!

  I am giving this hotel 1 star only because the front desk lady Kiki was so nice. Otherwise this hotel was DISGUSTING!! We came on a work trip a coworker and I. She found a fridge filled with containers of moldy food. My rooms toilet was leaking. There was only one room left unoccupied in the hotel which we were told was an executive suite. So we both decided to room together for the night. That room had dirty dishes in the dish washer food that looked like feces in the bottom of it. A layer of dust around the base of the floor all around, lollipop sticks, newspaper behind the bed, dental picks behind the TV, dust on the vents that could be easily wiped down, and stains on the sheets. We had to check out and book a hotel 6 miles away from the convention center. My suggestion fire everyone on that cleaning staff, hire new staff, train them properly and hold them accountable for their actions. Due to my experience at this location I will NEVER stay at a best western hotel again.

  This hotel received a low score due to the rude and dismissive attitude of Holly D at the reception, as mentioned in other reviews. Despite multiple attempts to contact the hotel by phone to request a room on a higher floor or away from the noise, I was repeatedly put on hold. When I finally checked in, I politely requested to move to a higher floor or away from the noise, but Holly D was extremely dismissive and stated that the hotel was sold out unless I had communicated in advance. She didn’t even bother to offer a warm apology or smile. The room itself was spacious and had a kitchenette and sofa (which she claimed was already set, but it wasn’t). The location was great for dining, but the noise from the streetcars was sometimes disruptive. Overall, Holly D’s attitude ruined the entire experience. She should be properly trained or should not be in the hospitality industry. If she had been more accommodating or at least warm and polite, I would have returned to this hotel.

  Hostess was delightful- Parking was a bit tricky- small parking lot around the corner and an overflow lot easily found with some direction ;) room was beautiful! Plenty of space, little kitchenette. Soap/shampoo smelled wonderful. Very comfortable! Very Clean- would come back again! Highly recommend

  Freezing cold, loud noisy HVAC, dirty linen, very old uncomfortable bed, no hot water, filthy room. Avoid. Stay elsewhere.
