  Do not stay here if you like breakfast on time. I had to meet a client so I couldn't wait until they decided to wake up the have breakfast. I also had another guest say to me he has been there for several days and breakfast is always 30 to 60 minutes late. I wouldn't go back.

  I recently had to book three rooms for a business event near Woodstock, NY. Due to a family medical emergency, I had to cancel one of the rooms the night before arrival. When the rooms were booked, they were sold to me as a final prices, and no changes could be made. I called the hotel, told them of the situation and was informed that there was nothing that could be done and I would be charged for the extra room even though I was going to be a no show for one of them. About six hours later I heard from the hotel. The agent I spoke to had discussed my situation with the owner, and they were gracious enough to refund the deposit for one of my rooms. Very nice of them to that even though they were under no obligation to so. I would highly recommend this hotel and would say that that human contact with the hotel made all the difference.

  This hotel is just OK. It’s reasonably clean and the rooms are typical of a Holiday Inn Express. It is also obviously being run as cheaply as possible. No tissues in the bathroom. Two half-rolls of toilet paper, which is just weird. Rooms had not been made up when we stopped back in at 3pm. The ice machines are all off. The pool is covered. Chairs are up on the tables in the lobby all day long, which is unwelcoming to say the least. The lobby AC was set uncomfortably warm. The breakfast is meager with no meat offering. Once I got someone to turn the pancake machine on, it turns out that the batter is gross, with a metallic taste. I’ve stayed here before a few years ago and it wasn’t like this. It’s going downhill. Also noticed that several recent comments complained about the same things and Holiday Inn responded as if they were going to fix it. It has not been fixed.

  Don’t let the smiles and cleanliness fool you. If you make any mess, they’ll call you AFTER you check out to inform you that they’re charging $150 for a cleaning fee. On top of it, they’ll let you know you’re no longer welcome there. For context, this was all about dried mud from a construction site nearby. No idea what hosts of a hotel expect of people traveling to work at sites nearby. If you’re traveling for business or pleasure, stick clear of this place. They’ll gouge you.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn in Saugerties, NY. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The entire property was exceptionally clean, including the lobby, hallways, dining area, and guest rooms. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining the hotel. One thing that stood out to me was how safe and secure I felt throughout my stay. The property was well-lit, well-maintained, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. As a traveler, that peace of mind means a lot. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was great, the bathroom was clean and updated, and everything was in excellent working order. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations. There was a great variety of hot and cold options, everything was fresh, and the breakfast area was clean and well-stocked. It was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had. Most importantly, the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Their attention to detail and customer service made the experience even better. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Clean, comfortable, safe, and a great value all around! That version will read very well on Google because it focuses on cleanliness, safety, staff, room quality, and breakfast—the things most travelers look for.
