  Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and recently updated. The setting is beautiful and I especially loved being able to eat breakfast on the balcony overlooking the river. I appreciated how dog friendly the hotel is and the grassy area designated for pets that was very clean. The pet fee is very reasonable. If your main reason for visiting is to go to the UR, it is a great location, easily walkable.

  After being involved in a car accident and being mercy lifted to Strong Memorial Hospital, I found myself discharged before my girlfriend who was also hospitalized at Strong. With no family or friends in the Rochester area, I was fortunate to be have encountered the kindness and hospitality of all staff members at the Staybridge Suites Rochester University. From the moment I emailed Tom and Jon who graciously accommodated my needs and requests to Danielle who went out of her way to track a lost phone or Bradi who went out of her way to arrange for transport in my search for my lost phone, Lanell who displayed great kindness and compassion and communication every time we encountered each other ,Jesus as well who always searched for solutions to my accommodation needs. The housekeeping staff was also more than helpful to a post accident recovery couple. The Staybridge is also centrally located with downtown, Strong memorial hospital, universities and airport within a 15 minute drive. The breakfast is also served by professional chefs who provide excellent quality food with riverside views. I highly recommend the Staybridge if you find yourself in Rochester, NY.

  I stayed back in late March, and the team at the Staybridge Suites Rochester University went above and beyond in every aspect! My stay was very last minute. Despite this, I was accommodated, greeted with a warm welcome, and even offered an upgrade. My room was clean and felt brand new. The hotel itself felt very safe and new. However, the biggest defining factor of my stay was the service. I wanted to extend for a Friday, when the hotel was sold out due to an event at the University. I communicated this to the front desk and was offered to be placed on a priority waitlist due to being a current in-house guest. They were able to find me a room for that night and received a call from the GM to ensure that went smoothly. I had to extend several times, and they were very accommodating about that. The front desk agents were helpful and quickly assisted me whenever there was an issue. Many of them even knew me by name after only a few days. Overall, 5/5 stay! Would highly recommend.
