  A hotel that is far from cheap yet has many shortcomings. The outdoor pool is closed—likely for good. The breakfast is abysmal. One of the two coffee machines is broken. The waffle maker is broken, too. The cold water dispenser isn't working either. The hot food options rotate on a daily basis. There are no knives for cutting fruit. I’ll stop there, as the list of issues goes on and on. One last thing about the rooms: they are in desperate need of renovation. They did have everything, though—microwave, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and a full-sized fridge (albeit without a freezer compartment). The TV is huge. They even skimped on the welcome water; there were four of us, but for our quadruple room, we unfortunately received only two bottles of water and two towels. That says it all. I’m giving this place just one star.

  Wasn't sure what to expect because of very mixed reviews but the beds were comfortable, I slept really well without noise or any issues. Our 4th floor hallway smelled nice like laundry so I'm not at what floors were effected by the smells in other comments. Breakfast was good both days and staff was nice. The toilets are oddly close to the shower though and the shower was inconvenient where you had to turn it on from a weird angle and get soaked before you're in the shower. Other than that all was fine.

  My family drove from Virginia had reservations at Studio 6 which was overbooked. My Aunt who is elderly and had a serious brain injury last year.l My aunt who walks with a cane and slow. The ride took a toll on her. She came to visit us here in Poughkeepsie I suggested Holiday Express which was an excellent choice. The employee and manager was very understanding and accommodating. Thank you again 💓

  It's close and it's clean. I'm a local residence in a local business owner and I have to say this place is pretty great. The breakfast in the morning is awesome! I couldn't ask for anything more from a place I was able to book within a half an hour! Totally clean and great
