  You feel it’s a well maintained hotel as soon as you enter parking lot. Clean and clearly Marked with water fall at the entrance. The lobby is magnificent with super high ceiling.

  Has a full service restaurant on site. Most HIE hotels have a small jncluded breakfast buffet but this (optionally included) breakfast is a full diner-like service. Just make sure if it's included when you book. Nice outdoor pool, lots of parking, less than a minute off the L.I.E. at Exit 46.

  Been coming to this place for years and always wondered why it was so awkwardly quiet at the bar restaurant area. For once the bartender or somebody on the staff decided to have background music playing made the experience so much more enjoyable. Basically turning into me, spending way more money at the bar. Whoever is in charge needs to stop making this place sound like a morgue. Just some light background music with some cool vibe is a big deal in any situation where people are looking to get out while away for work or just pleasure.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FINAL REVIEW: Five Stars Simply Aren’t Enough It is genuinely bittersweet writing my final review of the Holiday Inn Plainview after nearly eight weeks. I’ve written previous reviews during our stay, and not much has changed except somehow, it kept getting better. Most people hear “Holiday Inn” and picture a quick one-or-two-night hotel. This property completely changed that perception for me. The rooms are updated, comfortable and consistently pristine. The beds are great, the pool became my six-year-old son’s favorite place on earth, and we loved summer evenings by the gazebo. The gorgeous lobby with its soaring ceilings gives you that upscale feeling. But the reason I consider this a five-star experience isn’t the building. It’s the people. After staying in more hotels than I ever expected these past few months, I can confidently say this is one of the best customer-service teams I’ve encountered. Francisco, Patrick, Mannie and Evan became family. After eight weeks, a day without stopping at the front desk to say hello felt incomplete. They knew our family, remembered what was happening with my father, checked on him, knew my son and husband, and genuinely cared about what we were going through. Francisco, my brother from another mother, deserves special recognition. He anticipated what we needed, solved seemingly anything within seconds, made us laugh during some incredibly difficult days and even became best friends with our little dog. His customer service is exceptional, but what makes him unforgettable is that his kindness never felt like “just his job.” It was sincere. Patrick took equally wonderful care of us on the weekends, always keeping it real with me while making sure we had everything we needed. Mannie and Evan were consistently welcoming, helpful and accommodating. No matter who was behind that desk, there was a familiar smile waiting. The housekeeping team deserves recognition too. Our rooms were always beautifully maintained, and even staff vacuuming the hallways would stop, smile and ask how we were doing. That says everything about the culture of this hotel. During one of the hardest transitions our family has experienced, this stopped feeling like a hotel and became our temporary home. Now we’ve finally found a safe place of our own, and while I’m incredibly grateful, I’m honestly going to miss everyone here. If Holiday Inn management or corporate reads this, please recognize Francisco, Patrick, Mannie and Evan. Beautiful hotels can be renovated and furniture upgraded, but you cannot renovate a building into having heart. The people give it that. If you’re considering Holiday Inn Plainview and thinking, “It’s just a Holiday Inn,” think again. Come for the clean rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful lobby, pool and amenities. You’ll come back because of the people. Thank you for taking care of my family for eight weeks. The laughs, conversations, kindness and thousands of little things mattered more than you know. And don’t get too comfortable without us! My husband and I finally have a home again, which means eventually we’re going to need a night away from everybody. 😂 We already know exactly where we’ll be staying. ❤️

  Mindy is absolutely amazing! She makes bartending look effortless, but she goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. She always has a big smile, is incredibly friendly, and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. She’s also very knowledgeable about the menu and is always happy to suggest great food and drinks. She’s fast, attentive, makes you feel at home and genuinely makes the experience better for everyone. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. If you’re looking for great service, delicious drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere, ask for Mindy! She’s definitely one of the best! 🍹😊
