  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review Update – It Somehow Got Even Better! I had to come back and update my original review because our experience at the Holiday Inn Plainview has somehow gotten even better—and honestly, I didn’t think that was possible. I’ll admit it… when I hear “Holiday Inn,” I usually picture something basic—clean, decent, maybe a solid 2 or 3 stars. This location completely shattered that expectation from the moment we walked in. The lobby is beautiful, open, and upscale—more like a Hilton or Marriott than what most people imagine. The entire property is incredibly well maintained, and the rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Even the pool is clean, relaxing, and never overcrowded. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. After making the rookie mistake of forgetting to book our room for the weekend (my fault! 😂), we had to stay elsewhere for a couple of nights. When we returned, Francisco and Patrick welcomed us back like family. Our room was ready, a wheelchair for my father was waiting at the entrance, and check-in was completely seamless. It didn’t feel like checking into a hotel—it felt like coming home. Throughout our stay, Francisco has been nothing short of exceptional. During a very stressful time for our family—moving, extending stays, constantly adjusting plans—I found myself at the front desk almost daily. Not once did he make me feel like a burden. Every interaction was met with patience, professionalism, and genuine kindness. He didn’t just answer questions—he solved problems. He proactively extended our stay so we didn’t have to move rooms, checked in to see if we needed housekeeping, and even made sure packages were delivered directly to our room without us asking. That level of attention and care is rare. He has this calm, reassuring presence that makes everything feel manageable, even when things are chaotic. Holiday Inn—if anyone from corporate is reading this—Francisco is the gold standard. Employees like him are the reason guests come back. And it’s not just him. Patrick has been fantastic from day one. Manny has been wonderful. The housekeeping team keeps everything immaculate. Even the small moments—like someone helping me open a stubborn jar of sauerkraut—show how much this team genuinely cares. At this point, calling this place our “home away from home” almost feels like an understatement… I don’t even get treated this well at home! 😂 Seeing Francisco each morning felt like greeting a brother. Our experience has been so positive that we’ve extended our stay while searching for our forever home—and honestly, part of me doesn’t want to leave. If permanent residency were an option, I’d seriously consider it. To Francisco, Patrick, Manny, and the entire staff: thank you. During a stressful time for my family, you’ve given us comfort, consistency, and peace of mind. We’ll continue recommending the Holiday Inn Plainview to anyone looking for exceptional service. You’ve truly redefined hospitality and made us feel like family. ❤️

  We were only there for two nights and we're constantly on the run with activities and obligations we didn't have time to complain about the AC in the room, it wasn't working properly. Bar/ restaurant very convenient and food tasty. Front desk people were very kind.

  I went there and checked in. The room was hot and I lowered the A/C. The room was 78 degrees. I lowered it to 68 degrees and went out for dinner when I came back the room was still the same. I went to the front desk and the front office manager Patrick Thomas told me that they didn’t have A/C all day. I asked him if I can get another room and he said the whole hotel didn’t have air condition.. Then why didn’t he tell me when I checked in. Here it was night time and I wasn’t sure of any other hotels in the area. I was looking to go back next month and I spoke to Patrick to see if he could give a discount for my aggravation last time. I will never go back there.

  I was a witness to a very disturbing sexual interaction by 2 employees in the lobby, where one was receiving a shoulder massage, sitting in a chair, while subsequently reaching back with his hand groping the other gentleman's genitalia. The groaning was so loud that when I came out of the hall into the lobby that I couldn't help but see it all. I believe it was the host to the restaurant(older gentleman) and the receptionist(younger gentleman). When I was contacted about my stay, I addressed my concerns and how inappropriate it was, I was addressed with a simple sorry to hear youre not enjoying your stay, and then immediately sent my bill like I was being shooed away quietly. Literally never a mention otherwise. Honestly very disgusted. Especially knowing anyone could've walked into that.
