My closet smell like it got hot box before I came in. And the manager was was rude. Lied about the pool being under construction even though he just had no one to watch us at the pool.

I have never felt so uncomfortable or disrespected at a hotel in my entire life. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The trouble started when we tried to use the pool. The manager completely lost his temper for absolutely no reason and started screaming and yelling at us right in front of other guests. It was incredibly unprofessional and aggressive. Instead of politely explaining any rules, he chose to power-trip, create a massive scene, and flat-out refused to let us in the pool. The way he was acting made us feel extremely unsafe and uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. A manager is supposed to make guests feel welcome, not hostile and threatened. Save your money and go somewhere else where the staff actually knows how to treat human beings.

My ac fell of and the manager was really mean to me and said there was a lightning watch and wouldn’t let us swim even though it was just drizzling. The whole hotel made me feel very uncomfortable. 0/5 stars

I came here for a baseball tournament, we couldn’t swim because there was a little rain and a “thunder watch” we checked every app and there was no thunder watch. The manager also kept making different excuses to not let us swim.

I am an older man and I made an honest mistake — I booked my reservation one day off (June 20 instead of June 21). I caught the error almost immediately and called the hotel within two hours to correct it. What happened next was nothing short of disgraceful. This hotel — which normally charges approximately $150 per night — saw fit to charge me $690 for a single night's stay, exploiting the World Cup weekend to inflate their rates by more than FOUR TIMES their standard price. That is not "market pricing" — that is textbook price gouging, plain and simple. But it gets worse. When I called to adjust my reservation by a single day — within two hours of booking — they informed me I would be charged a cancellation fee of $690.00. Six hundred and ninety dollars. For a phone call I made the same day, within hours, to fix a one-day error. There was no goodwill, no acknowledgment that I was a customer acting in good faith, and absolutely no attempt to do the right thing. This kind of behavior is predatory. Charging an elderly customer a $690 penalty for an honest, same-day mistake — on top of already egregious price gouging — is, in my view, a form of financial exploitation. Businesses like this thrive on trapping customers in the fine print while showing zero human decency. The public deserves to know about these policies and practices. I am urging everyone — not just at this location, but across the entire Best Western brand — to think long and hard before making a reservation with any Best Western hotel. If this is how they treat customers who make an innocent, same-day mistake, imagine how they will treat you when something goes wrong during your stay. There are plenty of other hotels that value their guests. Best Western is clearly not one of them. To the management of this property and to Best Western corporate: you should be deeply ashamed of how you treated a good-faith customer. No amount of World Cup foot traffic is worth your reputation.
