This hotel is not "pet friendly" as advertised. I booked a "pet friendly room" . The description of the room states " The hotel welcomes pets, " and I was told they would accept 2 dogs up to 80lbs each. I was then told they would not allow a small bird kept in a covered cage that is our only pet. I would imagine that two 80lb dogs would be more problematic than a small caged bird.

This is one of the best Best Western Plus hotels we have stayed in this year. It was clean, well managed and had a great staff. The breakfast was also very good and well stocked. The plus of having hot water (or coffee) available day or night made this hotel exceptional, along with the seating area under an outside pavilion in front of the hotel which was a perfect place to sit with a good book beside the peaceful bubbling fountain. A great place to stay and relax!

The BWP Vineyard Inn is located in a great place in Penn Yan with a lot of vineyards within driving distance of an hour or less. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. Free breakfast, free parking and a pleasant staff round out a worthwhile destination for a Finger Lakes vacation.

Absolutely love, planning to come back again. Everyone at the front desk was especially nice and provided amazing service, and the housekeeper Casanna cleaned our room pristinely. They have a wonderful selection of breakfast foods that varies from day-to-day, and they’re placed directly in town for easy access to any food you could possibly want. The pillows on the bed were especially comfortable. Feels very romantic and luxury, but I stayed here many times as a child and found the hotel is very kid friendly, especially with the pool and a park just down the road. 11/10.
