- JGJuan Gutierrez1 day ago5.0Stunningly beautiful, set atop a hill overlooking the Hudson River. This meticulously restored former convent is a very special place. The staff are very warm and accommodating. They offered s'mores fixings for the fire pit, and way to stay in touch by texting. There was a special "Tour de France" 5 course meal paired with 5 French wines and champagne that truly blew us away. We met Donnen the organizer of the dinner and cocktail advisor who prepared a delicious cocktail menu too. Overall a truly special and memorable weekend getaway from the city.

Woke up to get to breakfast though and it was mediocre at best. Told them my bacon was burnt for my taste they brought back what looked like the exact same one, my fiancé tried it and thought it was burnt as well. Felt gaslight and undermined. Wasn’t worth the price. Going to get breakfast somewhere else after that experience.

He guided us about the drinks, food, and history of the Abbey. He went above and beyond to make our experiences extra special. The specialty drinks and food choices are nothing short of absolute mastery. While reading through the menus, its easy to see that a lot of thought and care was put into their design and content, they are beautiful. The view at the Abbey was stunning, the staff was amazing, and our experience was incredible. If you are looking for a special place, look no further than The Abbey.
