  We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express Painted Post and want to call out a young man named Jacob at the front desk. He was attentive, respectful, and clearly takes pride in his work — the kind of service that makes you remember a hotel long after you've checked out. When I asked another staff member for his name so I could recognize him properly, it turned out I was speaking with his father. His parents did a fine job raising him, and it shows in how he treats guests. This hotel is lucky to have them both. Thank you for a great stay.

  First off, the customer service was top shelf and couldn't be improved if you tried....from check in at front desk to breakfast staff to check out, all was exemplary.....the location was 5 stars, even though located on a highway....the reason for 2 stars on the room is fivefold....5 pics have been included in this review....#1.....bathroom door is simply befuddling, how management could not be aware of the situation is beyond me....#2.....holes in the bathroom wall from clothing hooks being removed....#3....tape holding up the light in the washroom ?????...really?....#4....the ice machine was "out of order" for at least 3 days....#5....the window in the room did not close properly so the solution was to wet some kleenex and jam it into the space between the window and the window track...nice touch....#6....at 3 a.m. the neighboring units TV was blaring through the adjoining rooms door....had to bang on the door to wake up neighbors and have them turn the volume down...they fell asleep with the volume up....poor soundproofing.... Now, these issues are mostly related to property care and upkeep....not the employees fault in any way....mostly pertaining to management and their lack of upkeep.... The employees did their best with what they had to work with.... In the end, decided it would be our last visit to the Holiday Inn in Painted Post....

  visited this hotel , rooms are nice but you literally have 0 service with your carrier when in the room and the hotel has 0 WiFi , if you call to see if they can fix it they don’t do anything Update: WiFi is still not working , Dylan at the front desk just laughs when bringing it up to him as if people don’t have jobs where they have to work remote , Never staying at this place again

  Probably the worst holiday inn experience I’ve ever had. One poor new employee at Friday checkin 4 pm. Supposedly a manager on duty but in reality no one. Super long wait to checkin. WiFi doesn’t work so can’t work in room. Towels are old. Room smells musty. Really poor considering the cost for this chain hotel. Update: it’s even worse than imaginable. Our room faces the highway and is so noisy.

  Room was clean, larger than usual and the bed was super comfy. The facility itself seemed a bit worn down. Elevator was not working, there was no phone in our room. Breakfast was much better than average for the hot food but the overall selection was smaller than I typically see. Pretty average place.
