  Was a bit scared based on others reviews, but place was solid. Needed a clean cheap room after dropping the kid off at college that wasn't too far from Cornell or $500 bc of move in wknd. Clean room, comfy bed, lots of space, everything worked. No weird smells as described by other reviews. The bathroom could use a new shower head, and the toilet was a little old with rust spots, but for a budget hotel, it was fine. If I saw this in a JW Marriott (and paid those rates), that's a difference story. Overall, got a good night's sleep, pleasent stay. Front desk was friendly. Would recommend.

  Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The outside was painted and presentable. You walk in your room with a dant musty smell. Took my shoes off, cut by a shard of glass. I start looking around for more.. hair on the floors, food particles, dead bugs (whatever). Then I notice the wallpapers peeling, mold behind it. Bathroom, mold on the ceilings, wet floor. Total negligence often the property. Managements issue, they know what’s going on. Lipstick on a pig. Go next door to the Hampton inn.

  Very disturbing. We were given a room. The room had a stench. Not a smell, a stench. The sink which is right next to the door, had smears of food in it. I look up and there is a ceiling tile missing. I can see wires and duct work. I go to the wondow to try to motion to my husband and in the window sill there were two green peppers, one half eaten. Bizarrre. The beds were made and the bathroom looked kean. I went to the front desk. The gentleman rolled his eyes as of to say “that terrible cleaning crew”. He gives me a different room. That room smelled better. No towels. I go back to the front desk and asked for towels. He rolls his eyes again, gets up and goes in the service room behind me and find and folds two towels and hannds them to me. I tokd him we need three towels and asked for hand towels. He gave me two. I get back to the room and go to stack the towels in the receptacle under the sink. At the last second I pause, as it looks dusty. I used one of our precious hand towels to wipe the area where towels go. My handtowel cane back furry with dust and ick. I was flabberghaster. Then, I notice weird globs of something on the kitchen floor. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I tried to find us a room elsewhere but could not. In the morning, there was a big group at breakfast who were all discussing the issues with their rooms. This hotel has been renovated on the exterior. Do not let it fool you. Currently, there is very weak management. A hotel room, if nothing else, should be clean.

  July 2 - July 4, 2026 -- DO NOT STAY HERE Hotel was exactly where we needed to be HOWEVER..... Our room was dirty, especially the bathroom AND the entire floor smelted like cabbage.......I like cabbage, but I don't want to live in it. Someone was clearly cooking their dinner in their room somehow. We went back down to the desk ASAP and told her we were not going to stay, We were told that we would have to pay for the first night - which I have no problem with - she then said we could get credit for the second night; After many tries by Capitol One, and being told "the manager was not on duty" they have come back and told them that we cannot get any money back. Online Policy: Late Cancellation Fee (Cost of 1 Night): If you cancel after the free cancellation window passes (e.g., within 24 hours of arrival), the standard fee is typically equivalent to the room rate of your first night plus taxes. The rest of your reservation will be refunded. Travel Stack Exchange Will never stay at a Best Western again. jULY 20, 2026

  Front desk was very helpful, and worked out my mistake when I couldn't find a spot online to add a pet. Hotel and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Stopped for a good night's rest on our trip and that's exactly what we got.
