- TNTammy NelsonSep 23, 20265.0Amazing to go to a hotel that remembers and utilizes hospitality!!!!! Place is spotless. Breakfast is very nice with a food selectionand a great little lady making your food, purring it out for you and even takes the time to all how everything is!
- GGGriffSep 15, 20264.0This hotel is solid Hol Inn Express fare. Bed's comfy too. However it has one big flaw: they have removed the coffee maker from the room. Nobody mentioned this on check in so I had to go fetch coffee from the lobby, which was decent. However tomorrow morning at zero dark thirty I won't want to be schlepping down to the lobby for coffee. All the Expresses seem to be pulling the in room coffee makers to save costs (increase profits) and this room still cost me $160. So this is one Diamond Elite IHG member who will be pulling Expresses from my list of hotels I stay in. 05:30 in room coffee is a big deal to me.

- CJChris JSep 9, 20265.0Late review but doesn't matter. We stayed here for a full week in June and EVERYTHING was exceptional. The manager David is hands on and makes sure his guests are completely taken care of and satisfied. The clerks are welcoming and take good care of the guests. The lady that takes care of breakfast goes out of her way to make sure you get what you need. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, the hotel has a very good location and we'll be back next year to this hotel. Well done IHG Olean staff! Thanks for making our stay very comfortable and trouble free.
- BBBlacklincsAug 25, 20262.0Arrived at the Holiday Inn Express in Olean on August 22, 2026 driving up all the way from Ontario. When we got to our room the disappointments began. The USB plugs by the bed were pushed in and loose to the point where when you tried to plug in your charger cord, the cord just fell out of the USB plug because they were so damaged and this was on both sides of the bed. Yes there were other USB ports in the room but as someone that has a Mom in long term care I like to keep my phone close in case of an emergency. My wife then went to have a shower the next morning and as the pictures show was greeted by someone else’s hair and pubic hair ! Not the kind of experience I think we should have had when paying $245.50 US a night which is about $340 Canadian. I gave 3 stars for service because the staff were nice and when I showed them the pictures they looked equally horrified. Really disappointed in this experience especially being a Platinum rewards member with IHG. This hotel needs work and hopefully this review will help other guests not have the same disappointment.
