  Im a New Yorker who has transitioned out of NY but frequently visits. This was the most amazing, comfortable and so commuter friendly and ideal to getting everyone. Dining within the area was awesome and the hotel and staff were absolutely amazing and so welcoming and supportive.

  Great location, not far from MTA or FDR express. Staff was great, especially Matthew and Sha’fiq who were exceptional in the customer service. Room was spacious and clean - great value for price paid.

  We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Westgate Hotel in New York City! We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with an upgrade to a balcony room overlooking the Hudson River. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture, and we couldn't have been more grateful. Waking up to those views made our trip even more memorable. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Grand Central Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Our room was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and remarkably quiet. We couldn't hear guests in the rooms next to us or above us, which is impressive for a hotel in NYC. Of course, you can hear some street noise if the balcony door is open, but that's all part of the New York experience! The bed was extremely comfortable, the staff was exceptional from check-in to check-out, and everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. We also enjoyed the hotel bar, which was excellent and a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. From the outstanding service and beautiful accommodations to the fantastic location, everything exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City.

  My family and I recently stayed at the Westgate New York Grand Central, and our experience was made truly special because of Jose. From the moment we arrived, Jose was warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making our stay memorable. He went above and beyond by recommending a fantastic restaurant and even called ahead to let them know we were coming. The recommendation turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. In a city as large and busy as New York, it's easy to feel like just another guest, but Jose made us feel personally cared for and valued. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail exemplify true hospitality. Thank you, Jose, for helping make our family's New York vacation so memorable.   My family and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. It’s in a good, quiet location that’s not far from the main tourist attractions of NYC. The rooms are clean at this hotel and the service is even better. Highly recommend staying here!
