They spent $20 million in a remodel. Where?? My room was tiny and I didn’t think it had any windows at first….felt like a prison cell. I finally noticed a tiny window and it opened up to a wall.
The TV was extremely old, you had to click through each channel one by one and they do not go very fast. Not a smart TV in the year 2026. Where did that 20 mill go again?
Not to staff training, I’ll tell you that much. I hurt myself and called to ask if DoorDash could be brought up to my room because I can’t walk. They refused and they finally put me on a hold to “get a manager” for over 5 minutes. I eventually hopped to the elevator to go down to get my food. No one said anything.
It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel, and a “four star” hotel at that. Would not recommend. Not comfortable and the staff doesn’t want you to be there.

En vacances en famille à la découverte de New York, l’hôtel est bien placé (42e au calme) le personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable et le bagagiste qui parle français nous a même conseillé Brooklyn promenade. Thank you so much.

First impression, Poryelina was awesome, true professional, recommended great Italian closeby. Room was immaculate, modern and nice views of city. Rooms have minifrig , desk and large bath. Hot shower and internet works great. Close to Grand Central and Subway(6). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Buena ubicación porque esta cerca de gran central.
A mi me toco una habitación en el piso 7mo. Mas chica no podía ser. No me gustó
Califico con una estrella porque cuando hice el chekout, me dijeron que nada tenía que abonar, lo cual era obvio porque no consumi nada en el hotel, pero ya estando en Buenos Aires y cuando me llego el resumen de la tarjeta me debutaron 200 dolares que no se a que corresponde, porque nunca me informaron de ninguna tasa, no me informaron que me iban a cobrar nada y cuando intente comunicarme para reclamar imposible. Es una estafa total, porque entiendo que te cobren tasas pero al menos me deben informar. Estafa total
Por último, la limpieza se la habitación regular

*1/5 star — Staff conduct made me uncomfortable, management unresponsive*
During my stay, I saw a staff member wearing political attire and pins that I found offensive and inappropriate for a hospitality setting. I raised concerns with management multiple times, but nothing changed and the employee is still working there.
Guests come from all backgrounds and hotels should maintain a neutral, welcoming environment. Allowing overt political displays by staff while on duty sends a message, and the lack of response after complaints speaks volumes about management priorities. I won’t be back..
