Step into the historic Warwick New York, where you are welcomed to a hotel that conveys both a stylish tradition and elegant service which is valued in this fast-paced modern world. Built in 1926 by media tycoon William Randolph Hearst, the Warwick New York 4-star luxury hotel has become one of the world’s most legendary hotels, welcoming The Beatles, Elvis, James Dean and Cary Grant among others. This legacy of hospitality continues today with each guest that stays with us.
I honestly don’t know how anyone could rate this hotel low. It’s gorgeous and charming. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful as is the doorman. The housekeeping ladies are absolute gems! Everyone says hello and asks if you need anything—all with a smile on their face. If you leave trash outside your room it’s picked up almost immediately.
The lobby is ornate and lovely. The elevators are small but there’s 3 of them!
The hallways and rooms are clean. Beds are comfy with lots of pillows and extra blankets. Each room has a walk in closet! There’s a large desk, spacious nightstands with drawers, and a sitting chair. Lots of lamps for light, drawers under the tv, a fridge, and ability to stream Netflix. The bathrooms are gorgeous with lots of shelving for toiletries near the sink and in the bathtub. Towels are plentiful and large. They have really good smelling body wash and lotion that actually smells like flowers. Soft Kleenex tissue and a powerful little hairdryer. Rooms have Starbucks coffee and they give you water bottles (even tho NYC boasts the best tap water on the planet).
We had two rooms, one had a great view of the city and the other had no view but I knew that when I booked (unless you pay for the city view you’re gonna get a blocked alley view but that’s expected when you book).
The location is great with subway stops, restaurants, bodegas, coffee nearby.
I would stay here again for sure. It’s a lovely hotel with lots of history. You really can’t go wrong here.

Everything was great the room is very spacious and comfortable. Left a star because the bathroom does look a bit old and the lighting throughout the room isn't the best for pictures or doing makeup. The shower water pressure is strong which is a must for me! Service was great, cleaning lady is such a sweetheart and always does the room up so beautifully & the bellhop (i think that's what it's called) is so sweet and always recognises you

We've stayed here once before a few years ago and it was fine. Size of rooms is good and the location is great but everything else has gone downhill. Our room looked into a light well with scaffolding and another building 10ft away. Middle of the day it looked like night as NO light made it down. Room was a good size for NYC but very dingy, some furniture falling apart with extra "handyman screws" holding them together. AC sounded like a jet engine in the bedroom. When you turned it off, it made an even worse noise and never stopped. We asked for a cot for our 5 year old, it took 1.5 hrs to be delivered. It was past her bedtime so we made several calls and went down to the front desk in person and their excuse was there was only 1 staff member who delivers things to rooms for the entire hotel and no one else could help. I offered to take the cot myself but they would not entertain that. No one seemed to care at all. Will never stay here again

Everyone out here considering staying in this hotel - STAY AWAY! Listen to the bad reviews, they will save your trip! I arrived with my wife to the hotel and was shocked from how dirty the hotel is! Basic things like changing sheets, strangers hair all over the bathroom, very very disgusting. By the way, The hotel stands with this low quality. They are fully aware of what’s going on and didn’t even look shocked when they arrive to the dirty room they just gave us to check in. They suggested us to leave, because their low quality didn’t match to our high cleaning demands! I didn’t know changing sheets and asking for clean bathroom and floor is high demand! Any way, end up taking other hotel, same price, same location, but very clean! Don’t compromise, there are much better options out there!
