  Our stay at Voco Hotel Times Square New York City was amazing from start to finish. The location truly was everything—perfectly situated within walking distance of Times Square, great restaurants, and easy access to the train station, which made getting around the city so convenient. The staff was PHENOMENAL and consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel very welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel itself was one of the BEST my husband and I have stayed at—very clean, modern, and comfortable. The bartender was also super friendly and added to the overall great experience. Overall, we loved everything about our stay. It was the perfect mix of comfort, cleanliness, and unbeatable location, and we would absolutely stay here again.

  מיקום מעולה, ברחוב שקט אבל קרוב לכל מה שחשוב בעיר, 3 דקות מתחנת הרכבת/מטרו המרכזית, 15 דקות הליכה מהטיימס סקאוור. מוקף בשני הצדדים בשדרות הכי נחשבות בעיר, הכל קרוב . מלון שקט ממש, החדרים נקיים וצוות הקבלה שירותי ועוזר מאוד. יש גם שירותי הסעה לשדה התעופה במחירים מיוחדים. החדרים ללא עישון ואין פינת עישון במלון לא ממש נעים אבל בתור מעשנת צריך לעמוד בצידי הכניסה למלון ולעשן. יש שירות עצמי לשתייה, קפה ומזון שזמין תמיד אני נהנתי ממש מהקפה והפירות, יש גם כריכים ושתייה קלה, חטיפים ועוגיות.

  I am leaving this review primarily as a warning to anyone booking this hotel through Hotwire. We booked a three-night stay at voco Times Square South through Hotwire and arrived expecting to check in, only to be informed that the hotel does not do business with Hotwire and had no reservation for us. What surprised me most was that the staff seemed very familiar with the situation and immediately knew to redirect us to another voco property. To be clear, the front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and I do not blame them for the situation. However, if this issue is common enough that staff immediately recognize it, travelers should be aware that a Hotwire booking for this property may not result in an actual stay at this property. We specifically chose this location and spent time researching it before booking. Instead, we were sent elsewhere and the experience ultimately turned into a series of hotel changes that significantly affected our trip. My purpose in posting this review is not to criticize the staff at voco Times Square South, but to warn future guests: if you are booking through Hotwire, verify carefully that your reservation will actually be honored at this hotel before you arrive.

  The location cannot be beat. It was steps away from Times Square and all that this area has to offer. The hotel is micro so rooms are small but offers smart storage space with lots of outlets/plugs for necessities. The mattress and pillows were perfect and most importantly, clean! Love that the room was cleaned perfectly daily. The coffee was restocked, daily. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap/lotion was plentiful and high quality. I took note of the brand because I'd like to buy some to take home! The only negative was the elevators but it's fine because all the positives outweigh the elevator waits. The daily amenity charge is standard here in the city so not sure why folks complain. They even give you a credit back to use at the restaurant, coffee bar or snack area. When we return to the city, will definitely book here again. Loved it!

  Do not stay here if you value your money. Upon checkout, the hotel confirmed in writing that my $150 deposit had been fully released and would not appear on my account. Despite this written guarantee, $57.38 was charged to my card without any explanation. Every attempt to resolve this was met with complete silence. I will now pursue every legal and consumer remedy available to me — not because $57.38 is a significant sum, but because I intend to show exactly how far this hotel will go to keep money that isn't theirs. This review will be updated as the matter progresses. [Update (2026.6.5.)] The hotel has since responded, claiming the charge was a "resort/amenity fee." This explanation fails on three counts: (1) I was never informed of any such fee at booking, check-in, or check-out; (2) their own staff confirmed in writing that the full $150 deposit would be released — with no mention of any fee; and (3) their response incorrectly identified my booking platform as Priceline, when I booked through Agoda. My Agoda confirmation contains no mention of any resort fee. A formal complaint has been filed with the New York State Attorney General's Consumer Frauds Bureau (Intake #1-1279178862). Further actions are ongoing. Should any formal determination be made regarding the hotel's conduct — whether by the card issuer, the Attorney General's office, or any other authority — I will update this review with the outcome.
