  Had a great stay at The Langham New York. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff service was excellent and very helpful. Location is perfect, near all attractions. Highly recommend!

  I genuinely think this was the best hotel stay I have ever had. I don't even think words or pictures can fully describe The Langham New York Fifth Avenue because when you look at the pictures online they honestly do it no justice. You have to actually walk inside and experience it. This is without a doubt one of the most exquisite, professional and amazing hotels I have ever stayed at in New York City. From the moment you arrive, everything feels different. The level of service, the atmosphere, the rooms, the staff and the attention to every little detail are on another level. You will literally feel like you are staying at a 10 star hotel the entire time. And I have to explain what happened before we even arrived because this is where The Langham absolutely blew me away. Our trip to New York turned into an absolute nightmare before it even started. Our flight was canceled because of the horrible storms and we ended up stranded in Detroit, scrambling to figure out how we were even going to get to New York. We missed our entire first day and first night at the hotel and by the time we finally made it there we had basically been awake for almost 50 hours. We had been rerouted, stranded, driving, changing plans and dealing with Delta and flight cancellations for a day and a half just trying to get to New York. Throughout all of this I was able to communicate directly with The Langham through WhatsApp, which made such a huge difference because I could actually talk to someone and explain what was happening. Not only did they refund me for the night we couldn't make it, which they absolutely did not have to do, they actually upgraded our room because they knew what we had just gone through trying to get there. When we finally walked into that room after everything we had been through, I could have cried. There was a beautiful Happy Birthday cheesecake waiting for us, gorgeous cookies, and the most unbelievable view. After being stranded in the middle of the country, exhausted beyond words and wondering if we were ever going to make it to New York, we finally walked into this incredible room where everything had been thought of for us. That is hospitality. That is what makes this hotel different. They didn't cause our travel nightmare and they had absolutely nothing to do with what happened, but they still cared about what we had gone through and did everything they could to turn the beginning of a horrible trip into something amazing. I will never forget that. What stood out to me the most was the service. They go above and beyond for you in a way that is almost impossible to find anymore. This is the type of service and class that you realize has slowly disappeared from society. Nothing feels like an inconvenience to them. They will bend over backwards to make sure you have what you need and that your stay is perfect, and they somehow manage to do it while still making everything feel effortless and genuine. There is a level of elegance here that cannot be manufactured. It isn't just an expensive hotel trying to look luxurious. It actually feels luxurious. There is a huge difference. I have stayed at beautiful hotels before, but The Langham is one of those places that completely changes your expectations afterward. Once you experience this level of hospitality, you realize how rare it actually is. If you are debating whether it is worth staying here, it absolutely is. Pictures cannot capture it. Reviews cannot fully explain it. You genuinely need to experience it yourself. Not to mention the location is perfect, the value is outstanding, the rooms are impecibally clean, there is zero noise, and the ammentities are outstanding! The Langham New York Fifth Avenue has officially ruined other hotels for me. Absolutely incredible.

  We had a great stay at The Langham with my wife and daughter. We booked vis Virtuoso and had early check in, late check out, free breakfast, $100 credit and a room upgrade. What we noticed the most is the front bell man have the best customer service and are super friendly! We have stayed at many NYC hotels and that stood out to us so much- it didnt feel like a typical NYC hotel in that regard. Room was great- bathroom great size but shower was a bit on the smaller end. Views were great as well. Gym was decent size with all new equipment. Highly , highly recommend this hotel when staying in NYC- you wont regret it.

  Fantastic stay at The Langham NYC! The location on 5th Ave couldn't be better, and the rooms are huge compared to most New York hotels, which was great for our family of three including my 7 year old, but what really set this stay apart was how wonderfully warm the entire staff was. A huge thank you to Shaun Chaney at the front desk for such a seamless check-in, Abu and Na for being so helpful with our bags, taxis, and directions, and Ashley for providing the absolute best turn-down service! From the spa-like bathroom to the unbeatable hospitality, everything was top-notch. Highly recommended!

  I stayed at The Langham for eight nights and unfortunately left disappointed. For a hotel positioned and priced as a luxury property, it simply didn’t feel luxurious. There is very little to do and the overall experience lacks the amenities and attention to detail I would expect at this level. The biggest issue, however, was the bed, which was extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep throughout our stay. The mattress felt worn and unsupportive, and it significantly affected the quality of rest each night. Even though our room had a bathtub, there were no proper bath amenities provided. The hotel does have a car service available, but it was almost never accessible during our stay and we were only able to use it once. The room was spacious, but overall the hotel lacked the sense of luxury and experience I expected.
