Sincèrement qualité /prix c est difficile de trouver mieux à New York
Emplacement sur Broadway Avenue
Entre
Central Park et Time Square
Chambre spacieuse
I stayed here on an overnight trip with my girlfriends and overall I’m disgusted. I’m still here and I cannot wait to go home. The bed is killing my back. It’s an unsettling vibe- (feels racist) that subtle racism people staring and stereotyping “WhAt aRe YoU DoInG HeRE? I went to the bathroom on the rooftop floor because I started overheating. I had no idea what was going on - our night was about to begin and I was sweating profusely out of nowhere. I’m in the stall trying to fan myself and cool down. The cleaning lady busts in the door complaining that she wants to go home - (she said it at least 4 times) she’s complaining that she just cleaned the bathroom ten minutes ago and it’s already dirty. (I never even used the bathroom) I hear her asking a staff member of the hotel if there is pee on the floor in her stall. She’s banging on my door - and continuing to be rude. Eventually she calls in another staff member to get me out. When I feel like I am cool enough I come out. I am so upset I’m shaking. It’s not even from embarrassment as I am trying to process what just happened to me - but disgust. I explain to the two other women that I was sweating like crazy and I don’t know if that was a hot flash or what - and they apologize and go about their business - but to stand there and blatantly LIE that you did not say all of those insensitive things is disgusting. You never know what people are going through and that left a nasty taste in my mouth. I can understand wanting to go home - but to be so insensitive and then lie is unprofessional and nasty. She did not care for my wellness she just wanted to go home (same) I wanted to love the bar - it reminded me of a resort and seemed fun . The bar was weird as well as soon as me and my friends sat down we were told it’s closed and to move- we left the hotel and enjoyed our evening outside. It’s one thing to be discriminated against by others but from your own kind is disgusting. This is exactly why I have zero interest in NYC. No hospitality. Treat patrons with respect and kindness. As an avid traveler - never again.
Starting from the beginning. The price for the hotel was WAY too high. We paid $600 for a family of 3, and it was absolutely not worth it. While indeed, the location and the view are both nice, the quality of the hotel itself does not compare to the price.
Rooms are very small themselves, moreover, a room for 3 has just two beds, and they can definitely not be classified as king-sized.
Breakfast was genuinely a unique experience, it was my first time seeing a 30-45 min line for breakfast at the hotel!! While it is a buffet with a fairly not very rich choice, it for some reason always took so much time to simply get a meal in the morning which in my opinion is ridiculous.
Thirdly, the bar staff is something different. First, I hear that they don’t serve 30% of the tables behind an imaginary line for some reason. Later, I come out on the terrace and it’s unbelievably loud due to the music. I asked to turn the music down at the bar, instead of a polite answer, I received a short and rather annoyed “no” from the bartender and was later ignored by him.
Overall, if you are ready to overpay and ignore the downsides of service and accommodation merely for the view and location - this hotel is your option.

Absolute terrible staff. Both at the bar/ restaurant and the front desk. If a question was asked, the replies by everyone were snarky and distasteful. No one here (minus the nighttime concierge and bag storage staff) should be working in hospitality. And no, it’s not just a “NY” thing bc I switched hotels mid trip and AC was the complete opposite experience. I do appreciate them placing me on the top floor (well right under the penthouse level) but I was placed by the elevator and asked to be moved- well, the man at the front desk replied with “you’re 3202. That room isn’t by the elevator” in a “you’re wrong and I’m right” type of way when in fact, 3202 is definitely by the elevator across from 3208 on the other side which agitated me. Because the attitudes of the staff here is so horrendous, I left it alone and had to deal with nosey nosey housekeeping and clanking of equipment, etc at crazy times when I was already running 3-4 days no sleep. I needed a late checkout so ofc they charged me $100 to checkout at 1pm instead of 11am. I was out and didn’t come back until around 11:05 so I needed to key card reactivated for my extra 2 hours and instead of one of the staff members helping me (who was doing absolutely nothing), he rudely pointed to the back of the line where guests were checking out. I didn’t get to the room until close to noon so best believe I started a 2 hour timer from the time I was able to get back into the room. I will not be back here.
