    THIS HOTEL IS A CATFISH!!! I used to live on this street in NY, and when I tell you this hotel was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, I mean it. Online, I had specifically called and asked for a corner room, describing a specific photo from their website. Upon entry, there was 0 mention that the room was entirely different as well as directly above a club that was unbearably loud. As well, the room was NOTHING like the photos, moldy, unclean and half working lights. There was 0 furniture or carpets and did not look anything like the photos. As well, the receptionist was incredibly rude and tried arguing with me when I asked about the room issues. From this point, the manager tried very annoyingly to get me to stay in a different room and was uncomfortably pushy. Overall very bad experience do not recommend.

    Unfortunately this was one of the poorest hotel experiences I’ve had, New York City or otherwise. The staff was very kind, but the rooms left a lot to be desired. My first hotel room did not have a door on the shower so water kept flooding the bathroom, and didn’t have hand soap/conditioner. After I requsted a new room, my new room was missing body wash – when I asked for this, it was replaced with their hand soap. There was also mold along the shower. For the price point of this hotel, I would definitely expect a cleaner, more seamless experience. There also isn’t overnight room service, basic toiletries, or any other features you would expect from a “4 Star” hotel. While the general location of the hotel is great, the street itself is dark, dirty, and leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, I unfortunately would not stay here again or recommend it.

    Good location but there are better options in the area. Stayed for 3 nights: room never cleaned, asked for extra pillows because they were almost completely flat but did not receive what I asked for, breakfast on 15 th floor was a bust because workers were drilling and hammering every morning, in room safe was broken, body wash was torn off the wall in the shower. All of this was reported on night 1 and was never repaired. Finally, bellman offered to arrange an $85 black car ride to airport. Car was old and when I arrived at airport the driver wanted to charge me $97 saying $85 was for “cash only”. I recommend finding another hotel in the area. There are several.

    My stay at Hotel Indigo Lower East Side New York was excellent, and a big reason for that was Tiberius. From the moment I arrived, he was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He has a great personality and made every interaction feel warm and authentic rather than forced or scripted. This was also my first visit to New York City, and Tiberius made the experience even better with his recommendations. The food spots he suggested ended up being some of the highlights of my trip, and honestly are part of what will keep me coming back to visit NYC again. He also gave me other recommendations that I didn’t have time to try this trip but absolutely plan to check out in the future. What stood out most was how attentive and helpful he was throughout my stay. I had an issue with water from the shower leaking under the bathroom door and onto the floor, and Tiberius immediately stepped in to help. He made sure I had fresh towels while maintenance worked on the issue and followed up to make sure everything was addressed as best as possible. That level of care and responsiveness really made a difference and showed how much he values guest experience. After long days exploring the city, it was always nice coming back to someone so friendly and positive. Employees like Tiberius are rare and truly elevate a hotel stay from good to memorable. The hotel itself was also great — clean, comfortable, quiet rooms, an excellent location, and easy access to restaurants and the subway — but Tiberius was absolutely the highlight of my experience. I would gladly stay here again because of the hospitality I received.

    We had a fantastic four-night stay at Hotel Indigo Lower East Side New York and can’t say enough great things, especially about Tiberius. Tiberius truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked into the lobby, his warm smile and vibrant personality made us feel instantly welcome. He has a natural gift for hospitality and a genuine desire to make every guest feel valued. His attentiveness, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond set the tone for our entire stay. It’s rare to come across someone who leaves such a lasting impression, but Tiberius absolutely does. He is a standout, a true professional and a huge asset to the hotel. Paul was also wonderful and contributed to the welcoming, positive atmosphere we experienced throughout our visit. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal—safe, convenient, and surrounded by an amazing variety of restaurants. It’s also just a short walk to the subway, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a full day in New York. Very quiet rooms. Overall, this was an outstanding stay, and thanks to Tiberius and the team, this hotel will absolutely be one of our top choices whenever we return to New York City.
