    I chose to stay at this hotel because I usually book Holiday Inn properties whenever I travel. I've consistently had positive experiences with the brand, and as an IHG Gold Elite member, I have come to expect a certain standard of quality and service. Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet those expectations. Instead of feeling like a Holiday Inn, it felt more like a one-star hotel. The biggest disappointment was the customer service. The staff was neither welcoming nor attentive, and my concerns were not handled appropriately. During my stay, the air conditioning unit began leaking water into my room. When I reported the issue, the only immediate solution offered was a few towels so I could clean up the water myself. I was told that a technician would come to fix the problem, but no one ever arrived that evening. The following day, someone finally came to my room, but instead of repairing the air conditioner, they simply used a vacuum to remove the water that had already accumulated. The air conditioner continued to leak, my room remained flooded, and the underlying issue was never fixed during my stay. I understand that this hotel is located in an older area and that older buildings can present maintenance challenges. However, that is not an excuse for the condition of the property. Proper maintenance and periodic renovations are essential to ensure the hotel meets the standards guests expect from the Holiday Inn brand. I am genuinely surprised that this property carries the Holiday Inn name. The quality of the service, the maintenance, and the overall guest experience were far below the standards I have come to expect from IHG. This was by far the worst Holiday Inn experience I have ever had, and I sincerely hope management invests in improving both the property's upkeep and the level of customer service so future guests receive the experience the brand promises.

    Very disappointing stay. The “king” bed felt much smaller than a standard king—to the point that, at 178 cm (5’10”), my feet hung off the end. When I brought this up with the front desk, they simply insisted I was in a king room and dismissed my concerns without offering any understanding. Housekeeping was also poor. One day they entered the room, made the bed, but left our overflowing trash cans untouched and didn’t actually clean the room. Customer service left a lot to be desired as well. One night when we returned around midnight, the receptionist didn’t acknowledge or greet us and simply stared at their computer . Overall, I expected much better service and attention to detail from this hotel.

    Service was good and friendly. Room was okay. Good windows to block outside noise, but the air conditioner was old and very noisy, and didn't work very well. It also dumped condensation all over the floor and got my clothes wet.

    If you ever come across a good deal at this hotel, book it. The room is clean, the service is great, and it has all the facilities you need. It’s also very accessible to all major Manhattan destinations.

    Front desk is not good, especially girl that works night shift on Sunday. No drinking water available. Loud through the night and day. Everything would’ve been okay except the terribly rude and unprofessional girl at front desk. Makes me not want to stay at an IHG property again, even though I have a long history with their hotels. Made an otherwise great week much worse, go somewhere else.
