  There are hotels that provide a room, and then there are hotels that provide kindness when you need it most. This is definitely the latter. When an unexpected emergency left my daughter needing a safe place to stay in the middle of the night the staff welcomed her with extraordinary kindness and compassion. Instead of simply checking her in, they made her feel safe. When I arrived in New York a few days later, we ended up staying here for nearly three weeks. Throughout our stay, every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I especially want to thank Mo and Alana, who checked on us every day. Their kindness wasn't part of a script. It was genuine. They always took the time to ask how we were doing, and those small acts of caring meant more than they probably realize. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, and in a fantastic Chelsea location, but what we'll remember most is how we were treated. They turned an incredibly difficult chapter into one that included kindness, reassurance, and genuine human compassion. The true measure of hospitality is how people treat you on your worst day. This team exceeded every expectation. I'm returning in August, and there was never any question about where I'd stay. I can't wait to introduce my husband to Mo and Alana!

  Great Holiday Inn location! Had king room on 12th floor, stayed 3 nights. Has outdoor seating, close to Amtrak and subway, easy to get to the major destinations in Manhattan - all for a reasonable price. They'll store your luggage pre & post check in so you can max your time in the city. Free wine at 4pm. Free water bottles and coffee 24/7. The staff were awesome and always talking with guests and making you feel comfortable. Can't say enough good things about this location. Highly recommend!

  Posizione strategica. Camera un pò piccola ma curata e pulita. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile a soddisfare le richieste dei clienti. Buona la colazione, variegata e abbondante. Sicuramente ci torneremo.

  This hotel was one of the cheaper options in midtown when I booked it, but it definitely has its share of pros and cons. First the good, the hotel has a great location in midtown with pretty good proximity to the major attractions in the city, furthermore, having free relatively good hotel breakfast, water, and cookies were all a nice touch. The bad however comes in being able to have a good quality night of sleep, which is the core of the hotels purpose. The AC was constantly making loud noises and there were weird sounds, the room is small and pretty worn, and the most unacceptable part is that they allowed for an extremely loud party to go on from 12 am to 4 am in the room next to me which disturbed the entire floor. Multiple people had reached out to the front desk but they refused to take any significant action, I know what the policy may be but by being unable to competently put an end to the disgustingly loud situation happening, they are killing any chance at a good nights rest and it truly ruined the experience for me. Overall I have to be fair with this hotel by acknowledging its pros and cons and not just giving a one star review because I do realize this is probably not gonna happen to most people but I do believe it should be noted. Overall would recommend if it’s a lot cheaper than everywhere else.

  Very disappointing experience. After a 5+ hour flight for a business trip, I checked in late at night and was given a room that was already occupied — someone was sleeping inside！！！ The replacement room was right next to the front desk, and I could hear staff conversations and noise all night. I had meetings the next morning and ended up sleeping only about 3 hours. I contacted IHG customer service afterward. They told me they would provide compensation and asked me to wait a few days, but nothing ever happened. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled afterward was extremely disappointing.
