The bar service was pure amateur hour: a bartender who couldn't execute a simple pour over the rocks after two attempts, paired with a waitress who asked how I wanted a double set up. When I left to walk out, she actually had the audacity to ask me to pay for the drink. The front desk was no better—an unmanned desk followed by an undertrained kid who looked entirely lost and capped off the insult by offering a glass of water as I grabbed my bag. This property is running on zero adult accountability, feeling less like a luxury hotel and more like an unsupervised training ground.

What stood out most was the privacy, quiet, and sense of calm. New York is loud, busy, and constantly moving, so coming back to the hotel after being out in the city felt like stepping into a completely different world. The hotel was peaceful and relaxing, with none of the noise or commotion you might expect in such a busy city. The staff were phenomenal—professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely well-mannered. We've stayed at other Four Seasons properties, and this was by far the most polished and courteous staff we've experienced. We especially appreciated how peaceful the hotel felt. There were no loud guests or disruptive noise, which made the entire stay incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. For us, the Four Seasons New York wasn't just a luxurious hotel—it was a quiet retreat from the city. We absolutely loved our stay and would gladly return.
