I stayed for a night this past weekend and it was a very pleasant stay, the customer service was very accommodating helpful and respectful, the hotel was really clean and I like the fact that the location was a walking distant from all the attractions.

Perfect location to get to everywhere. Amazing customer service. We were able to drop our bags off and explore the city until our rooms were available. Chris, the manager was Awesome. I would definitely stay here again! Thx to all the staff for an amazing stay.

The concept of this hotel is truly lovely and thoughtfully done. From the positive sayings on the walls, fresh water in the lobby, and yoga mats and stretching balls in the rooms, to the restaurant with a bar and coffee bar, adjustable colored lighting, blackout curtains, and fantastic shower heads—everything is designed to create a relaxing, comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and overall the space had everything it needed to be a great experience.
Unfortunately, the service fell far short of matching the quality of the hotel itself. The front desk staff we encountered were not particularly friendly or welcoming. The restaurant experience was even more disappointing—the server skipped any greetings or basic pleasantries, barely spoke to us, and never smiled, which made the meal incredibly uncomfortable. The food only looked good and even though breakfast was included in our package we chose not to go back the second morning of our stay.
I’m sure not everyone on staff is cranky, as one woman working the desk late at night was pleasant, but overall that wasn’t the experience we had.
The location is convenient in terms of proximity to things, but the immediate block feels a bit sketchy, with what appears to be a nearby clinic and a noticeable amount of questionable activity in the area.
This place has so much potential and all the right ideas, but the customer service really needs improvement. If I were management, I would strongly consider investing in customer service training, as it’s hard to imagine most guests returning without it.
We recently stayed at Even Hotels Times Square South, and it was an amazing experience and just as good as we remembered from our stay about seven years ago.
The room was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed, and we were really impressed by how quiet it was, even being right in Midtown. The blackout shades were a huge plus and made it easy to get a great night’s sleep.
The entire hotel feels modern, high-tech, and very clean. Everything was spotless, and the design from the rooms to the lobby felt fresh and well-maintained. The lobby in particular has a really cool, open, modern vibe.
The location is perfect, especially being on 35th Street. It’s super close to Penn Station and the subway, which made getting around the city really easy. The area also felt safe, even at night.
Service was another highlight. Check-in was fast and very friendly, and every time we entered or left the hotel, staff members acknowledged us and made us feel welcome, which really stood out.
One of the unique things about this hotel is its focus on fitness. While we didn’t personally use the workout equipment, it looked well-designed and genuinely useful and not just a gimmick.
Finally, the value was outstanding. We paid about $220 for the night, which is an excellent price for this level of quality in NYC.
Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, cleanliness, location, and service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City.
