  Very spacious room, especially by NYC standards. Extremely clean, very friendly staff, great location. Dove body wash and hair products, a fully equipped kitchen, excellent work space and very comfortable bed. The snacks and ice water in the lobby are a nice touch, as well as the lending cabinet, which has games and books. Great location near Times Square, but away from the noise and chaos. My only suggestion would be to have USB ports in the lamp bases and/or outlets, there are none in the room, so bring adapters! Overall, an excellent stay and I'm looking forward to my next one. Thank you!

  I just stayed here for two nights with my granddaughter. The rooms were spacious and included everthing you always wish you had in a hotel - full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee and coffeemaker, some dishes and silverware. We didn't cook or prepare food but I was impressed that there was even a cup with salt and pepper shakers for my "take out food". There was a big desk that my granddaughter use to play with her toys. We had a front window overlooking 39th St and that was cool. They had free coffee and water in the lobby. There was also a little store where you could buy other sundries, if needed. The location was great if you don't mind walking everywhere. I would stay here again but if I went with my granddaughter again, I would accept something more remote but closer to a subway entrance or train station, because my granddaughter didn't like walking so much. The hosts were wonderful and helpful and they sent me positive feedback right after checkout. I give them positive feedback on AirBnb where I booked - but I wanted to give them a little more positive feedback on Google.

  Petit manque de propreté, notamment au niveau des portes, mais l'hôtel est agréable, très bien situé juste à côté de Time Square et Broadway. Le personnel est sympathique et réactif, la literie est confortable et la kitchenette bien équipée. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour là-bas ☺️

  The check out and post-sale experience are important parts of the experience as well. I’m sure Candlewood Suites is not aware of that. The fact that I already spent hours on the phone (and the cost of those calls beacuse I live in Argentina) because the hotel made a mistake when they returned the security deposit to a card that is not mine is crazy! During the call they messed with me making me talk to different people promising it would be solved in a matter of hours and when I asked them to test my email and phone number to make sure it was correct they hung up on me! And when I called back they offerd me a membership to have benefits on my next booking… nice timing guys 👏🏻, trying to enroll an angry customer 🙄. I won’t stop giving you bad reviews until I get my money back, I’ll be looking forward to your contact to solve this problem, and then change my reviews.

  BE CAREFUL WITH THIS HOTEL! On June 6, we checked in at 5:00 AM. Since then, and as of today, June 8, my husband and I have been sleeping in this hotel every single night. The door had the do not disturb sign! This morning, a couple somehow entered our room while we were asleep. I have no idea how their key card was able to unlock our door, but we woke up frightened and completely shocked by this serious security issue. Later today, we went out and, when we returned, our room keys suddenly stopped working. We went to the front desk for assistance, and the receptionist told us that our room had been locked because there was no check-in record for that room. We explained that we had been staying in that room since June 6. She insisted that we had never checked in. We asked how that was even possible when all of our luggage and personal belongings were inside the room and we had been sleeping there for days. She claimed that the hotel staff had no record of either the room assignment or our reservation. I explained that this was clearly a hotel error, not ours, and that they could not lock us out while keeping our belongings inaccessible inside the room. Instead of taking responsibility, she repeatedly blamed us, saying it was our fault for not checking in which makes absolutely no sense considering that our belongings were in the room and we had been staying there since June 6. Miraculously, after insisting that there was no record of us, she was suddenly able to solve the problem and issue new room keys. We still have two more days left in this hotel, and we now feel completely unsafe, disappointed, and extremely concerned about both the security and the hospitality of this property. We do not recommend this hotel.
