- NCnate colby4 days ago3.0This was a mixed bag. Great wifi coverage but not the best speeds. Shower had good pressure but couldn’t hold a temperature. One elevator worked about half the time we were there. One elevator for 32 floors, imagine how that went. Bed wasn’t all that comfortable. Great location. Good sized room.
- LDLucas DiazMay 6, 20261.0The situation with the elevators is something inhumane and absolutely outrageous. Do not book this hotel unless you are fine with using stairs in a building that goes up to the 30th floor. We had a disabled member in our group as both of the elevators were down and we had to deal with the situation on our own. The front desk people also allow non guests to use the hotel facilities at night in exchange for some cash money to them. The people that use the facilities leave dirt, are extremely rude and some of them even got violent when I politely asked if they could let us use a drying machine ( their clothes were occupying it for 30 minutes without using the machine ) I see former reviews addressing the elevator issue and all they get is an AI generated response from the same person which does nothing to solve this ongoing issue.

- PWPaul WittApr 14, 20265.0Der Standort ist wirklich super, man hat diverse Läden und Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung. Deli, Supermarkt. Alles was man braucht. Smokeshops und Dispensarys sind auch sehr nah. Man kann alles sehr gut von dort aus erreichen. Egal ob mit Uber, Taxi oder zu Fuß. Nur zur Mittagszeit muss man mit Stau vorne an der Haupstraße rechnen. Das Zimmer war sauber, der Service wirklich gut. An der Rezeption würde man meistens sehr freundlich begrüßt. Muss ja aber auch nicht jedesmal sein, wenn man knapp 2 Wochen, mehrfach am Tag ein und ausgeht. Wäsche kann man im Waschraum waschen, das Gym ist kleine aber für eine Trainingssession ausreichend ausgestattet. Wenn ich wieder in NYC bin, werde ich wieder Candlewood Suites wählen.
- UUurApr 9, 20265.0We had a pleasant stay at the Candlewood Suites NYC. The staff was very friendly & helpful when we had any questions, especially Paul! Our room was cleaned every day & there were no hidden costs. We only had to provide our credit card information as a security deposit. The hotel has their own laundry room, which we used frequently. You can find free drinks & cookies near the reception & whenever you need any board games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils, etc. you can lend them from the lending locker nearby or you can pick up some snacks from the hotel kiosk. We didn’t use the room service though. The hotel location was perfect & very close to Times Square, you could reach almost every attraction by foot. If you‘re still debating whether or not to stay at this hotel, GO FOR IT! 😄
