⭐ 0/5 – Extremely Disappointing Experience
We stayed at this property for a very meaningful family trip and relied on confirmations provided by IHG before our stay. Unfortunately, after check-in, the property did not honor what we understood had been confirmed, resulting in unexpected additional expenses and significant stress during what was supposed to be a special family trip.
IHG Corporate later acknowledged the issue and confirmed that reimbursement would be provided. However, even after I shared IHG’s written confirmation with the property and asked them to cooperate and coordinate with IHG, the hotel remained unhelpful and non-cooperative.
I also reached out directly to the hotel manager,Clearly explaining the situation and requesting assistance. Unfortunately, even after multiple emails and continuous follow-ups, I received no response and saw no meaningful effort from management to help resolve the matter.
There were also basic room-maintenance issues — the locker/safe and toilet were not working , adding further inconvenience to our stay.
What disappointed me most was the overall lack of empathy, communication, accountability, and willingness to help from both the staff and management. Instead of being able to enjoy a meaningful trip with my family, we were left dealing with unnecessary stress and frustration.
I appreciate that IHG Corporate acknowledged my concerns, and I have now formally escalated my experience with this property to IHG senior leadership.
For a property carrying the Holiday Inn/IHG name, I expected much better hospitality, room maintenance, accountability, and guest care.
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this property. Never stay here!!!
It is unfortunate to leave this
The lady charged 23 dollar for resort per night which I still don’t understand n going to ask refund cause there was no indication or whatsoever when we booked this hotel,
They just decided to charge us when we checked in
And on first night the AC made huge noise
We had to move to another room in 3am
But we didn’t get any proper apology or compensation for it
I just wish people are not greedy n do more fair job
Now trying to reach them to talk
But no one still answer the phone for 30min

Beware of this scam!! My friend and I stayed here for one night. Upon check-in, we were waiting in line behind another customer who was checking out and was complaining about smoking charges that were brought up on their bill when they are not smokers and did not smoke in the room. I thought to myself that is unfortunate, but didn’t think anything of it until the next day when we were checking out and we were also charged the exact same amount for their smoke detector going off. My friend and I are not smokers and never have been. I am also 10 months postpartum and was pumping in the hotel room.. smoking while breastfeeding would severely decrease my milk supply. The hotel gave us an exact time that the alarm was triggered which was exactly when we had opened our door to leave for the Olivia Dean concert, and we both complained about a smell in the hallway as we were waiting for the elevator. The hotel is not responding to our correspondence to get this fixed and seems very sketchy that this happened to myself and the customer before us. Will definitely never be staying here again and will tell friends and family to be aware of this scam as well.
Frustrating Check-In Process and Subpar Facilities
It’s hard for me to give this hotel a high rating, as our experience was deeply frustrating—primarily due to their online reservation system and poor front-desk staffing.
My husband booked two rooms for our family, which included our children and grandparents. However, he was not with us on our check-in day. The front desk informed us that my husband needed to add me as an authorized guest. I understood, but the IHG app wouldn't allow him to add a guest or make any changes because it was past the official check-in time. When he called IHG customer service, they said they couldn't help and told him to call the hotel directly. He called the hotel, but no one answered. Meanwhile, we were waiting in a tiny, crowded lobby with only ONE staff member working the front desk, who insisted he couldn't do anything on his end and that calling the hotel wouldn't help anyway.
After a six-hour flight, our kids and grandparents were exhausted, sitting in a cramped lobby. Finally, after all the other guests in line had checked in, I was able to talk to the front desk agent again. He said his only option was to call his manager. He reached out to his director, who instructed him to call the phone number on file for the reservation to verify my husband's identity. He made the call, verified the details, and we were finally allowed to check in.
I don't blame the front desk clerk—he was just following protocol. However, IHG needs to address several major issues:
System Flexibility: If IHG advertises a fully functional online system, why can't members make simple guest updates on the day of arrival?
Standard Operating Procedures: Calling the primary guest on file to verify an arriving family member should be a standard check-in procedure written into their training manual—not an emergency measure that requires calling a director for approval.
Understaffing: For a hotel in Manhattan with 25 floors, having only ONE staff member at the front desk during peak check-in is unreasonable. That employee was working tirelessly, but the hotel is severely understaffed.
As for the rooms, they were predictably tiny—so small that you’ll want to leave early in the morning and return only when it's time to sleep. The plumbing was outdated, leaving standing water in the tub during showers. Additionally, despite being high up, I was woken up every night by street sirens, suggesting the windows lack proper soundproofing.
We will not be staying here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The customer service is a DISGRACE and they stayed with my money.
I was there in May, and upon my arrival I paid a deposit (160,72$) that I was told it would be refunded in 5-10 business days. When I checked out, I asked about the money and they told me that the money had been already released and would be sent to the account that I used to make the payment. It has been 3 months and they still have my money!
I have posted two reviews on google already, this being the third one, talking about this issue. I have called plenty of times during these months and they told me in the calls that the amount had been released, and that I should wait for the money to be sent to my account. They were LYING.
I was finally able to get in touch with the manager in July, via email, who told me that it was a misunderstanding and that they could not refund me because the deposit was in relation to the destination fee. So they lied to me several times when they mentioned that the money had been released and that it would be paid back. They lied at check in, check out and on the several calls that I made and that are RECORDED. After the manager told me that it was all a misinformation, after two months of complaining, I told him that I wanted to have access to all the recorded calls and wanted the formal channel to present a complaint. I have sent him 3 emails since then, the last one on the 20th of July, and still no answer from his side. Completely unacceptable! I will make a google review until I get my money back.
This is completely unacceptable, I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.
Run while you can!
