  Stayed here when I came upstate for a family member's funeral. My room was clean, the breakfast was hot and fresh but the best thing was the service. The front desk employees were absolutely amazing. Don't let these ladies go, especially the one nicknamed "Lady". (I heard someone refer to her) She was phenomenal. Anytime I called or approached the front desk she was so helpful and responded to my requests quickly. Turns out she was also the one who corrected my reservation when I called the day before and discovered it was at the wrong rate. She's a keeper.

  I'm the owner of an Interstate Moving Company. For the past 21 years I've been in more hotels nationwide than I care to admit (41 states with my wife and 3 year old son in the past 2 years alone). This stay however, was not business related whatsoever. Our foundation partially collapsed in our home so we needed a fast solution which brought us here to the Best Western in Monticello Ny. Over roughly 60 days, my family and I were greeted and treated better than we've experienced elsewhere. I could go on for hours explaining how amazing the staff is here. Each person was the definition of personable, professional and courteous, (Amber, Joline, Shawn, Kat, Grace), made us feel at home. My 3 year old calls Joline and Shawn his friends. Every morning he asks, "where my friends?, let's go see my friends ". It's so heartwarming. He's never experienced that elsewhere. In fact, this may be the first time ever that I'm writing about a positive experience. Usually I'm leaving a bad review, for one or more reasons, along with a complaint to corporate. That was not the case here. This is/was by far the most amazing experience we've ever encountered as a family. The room we had, (business suite), was massive. It had a jacuzzi style tub/shower, with a stove top for cooking and full size refrigerator. All of which made having a family here for an extended stay, all the more tolerable The staff were the best part of it. Thank you all for the level of customer service, attention, care and satisfaction, received. As a business owner myself, I know you are only as reputable as those you have working for you. And this staff, and establishment, definitely deserve the recognition for their quality service that exceeds that of current industry norms. Well done, thanks again!!!!!!

  If I could give 0 stars I would. I travel a lot for work and this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I dealt with two different people at the front desk (the first woman left before trying to resolve my checkin issues because she didn’t want to deal with me) and the second was no better. They were both so awful I didn’t even stay and drove three hours back home. Neither one of these people should work in customer service. Worst of all I was still charged for a room I didn’t stay in.
