  This is a great local hotel for people visiting the area or even people that need a quiet place to get away for a weekend. Our stay was made so much better with Benjamin. He went above and beyond in preparing what he asked for. We will definitely be back

  Came in early to the city AND was able to check in early and requested a room with a view and Melissa didn’t let me down! Great service and great room! Rm 516 has a great view of city!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great family stay in Queens We are a family of 4 — 2 adults and 2 kids — visiting from Toronto to explore New York City. Overall, we had a very good experience at this hotel. Check-in & Staff: Hannah at the front desk was excellent — very friendly, smiling, welcoming, and our check-in was smooth. I asked her about a kettle for the room. The hotel doesn't normally provide kettles, but she kindly gave me a coffee machine and coffee-making supplies, which I really appreciated. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Parking: Free parking was a big advantage. We arrived around 8 PM and were lucky to find a parking space. We left our car at the hotel for the next 3 days and used Uber/Lyft and the subway to explore NYC. Security Deposit: At check-in, there was a US$55 security deposit hold on my credit card. This was separate from the room charge. Location: The hotel is in Maspeth, Queens, and it is not close to Manhattan. It took us around 40 minutes to reach Manhattan using Uber/Lyft to 61 St–Woodside and then the 7 train toward Manhattan. Uber/Lyft to the subway was usually around US$10–20. The area is a normal residential/commercial neighborhood, not a luxury area, but we had no issues at all. There is a gas station and McDonald's nearby. Around the subway station, there are restaurants, shops, and a 24-hour supermarket. We usually left in the morning and returned at night, so we didn't really explore the neighborhood at night. Room & Cleanliness: The hotel and room were very clean and neat. Daily housekeeping was available. The bed was comfortable and the room had good facilities. The only minor issue was some outside noise in the room. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was very good. The breakfast area was constantly kept clean, and the person in charge was very responsible and kept the food well stocked. We even came around 9:45 AM, and there was still plenty of food available. The only downside was that the breakfast items were mostly the same for all 3 days, so a little more variety would have been nice. Overall, a very good choice for families looking for clean rooms, free parking, complimentary breakfast, and reasonable access to Manhattan. We had a comfortable stay and would happily stay here again. ❤️

  I usually use Holiday Inn to stay when traveling to/across US and I am usually satisfied at a standard level. However, I must say this time the Holiday Inn crew exceeded any of my expectations. Along 5 full days, every hotel employee demonstrated how committed the are to provide high-quality services. From the General Manager (Benjamín Ortiz) to the maintenance staff. Specially the Breakfast Team (Bruna, Knurshed and Minerva), no matter how messy the guests were, they solved any issue diligently with a big smile on their faces. Big applause and recognition to this Holiday Inn crew. They are models for other locations.
