  The hotel is located in a very convenient location and the rooms are modern and kept clean. However, the loud highway noise was almost unbearable - even with earplugs. We were on the 6th floor which is right above the highway overpass and the constant sound of cars on the highway did not stop throughout the whole night. We noticed that the windows did not seal properly and when we pushed it completely closed - the noise dampened but it would then unseal on its own. We made this comment to the hotel staff who said this is a common complaint. For our third night, the staff was able to move us to the second floor, beneath the highway overpass, and the noise was much quieter. We also noticed that the windows had a slightly different design and did seal completely. We appreciate the helpful staff and the location of the hotel - but we could not get enough sleep during our trip because of the noise. Unfortunately, we won’t be back at this hotel.

  The only thing keeping this hotel from a 5 star rating was the fact its next to a highway, which is very loud at night and makes it difficult to get some sleep. Otherwise the rooms are amazing and the beds are very comfortable. Special shoutout to Douglas for the facilitation of moving me to another room which is less noisy. One of the best concierges I’ve met, very kind and happy to assist where needed.

  In short, very satisfied with my overall experience of 14 days stay at Even Hotel, Long Island City. The staffs are super friendly and hospitable, the likes of Douglas, Victoria surely makes a great impact. The rooms, gym and other facities are upto the mark. The location of the hotel is the biggest upside with every amenities available in a few minutes walk. Next time I travel to New York, guaranteed I will book my trip here. Room Service/house cleaning is top notch. Truly appreciate the overall management style of the hotel, thanks to the management team, keep up the good work!

  The staff could not have been nicer. I was warmly greeted by Douglas upon arrival and he knew my name for my entire stay. Others at the front desk were also helpful and friendly. The gym was well equipped and I loved the fact that they supplied a yoga mat, yoga blocks and other workout equipment in the room. The building is new and well maintained. The rooms are small and not very fancy but comfortable and clean. I enjoyed exploring the area and the trip into Manhattan was so easy. I will definitely stay there again!

  A wonderful stay as usual. The hotel is in a great neighborhood. You’re close to everything you need. Coffee shops, restaurants, and Target are nearby. Whether you’re remaining in Queens or heading into Manhattan, Brooklyn, or NJ you have easy highway and mass transit access. Victoria at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. You’re in good hands with all of the front desk staff. Douglas, Matthew, Michael, Andrew, and Victoria, thank you for all the smiles and a warm welcome always.
