  My daughter called there with a question to be upfront that she was bringing a service dog. They told her she had to provide proof. So I called there and they told me the same thing. When I argued that that this is against the American disabilities act and that I will not let this go they then said that she would have fill out a form which is also against the ADA. Please look at the attached. The lady I talked to was extremely rude and hung up.

  Beverly at the front desk was exceptional! Very friendly and provided us with a sheet of restaurant recommmendations that she personally made herself! That was extremely helpful and much appreciated. Beverly greeted us hello and goodbye everytime! She should be promoted!

  Beverly was exceptionally courteous and helpful. Everyone should have someone like her to greet their guests and provide them with the things they may need to make their stay better.

  I was out of town working and stayed here. The staff is probably some of the best at any holiday inn I’ve traveled to and I stay exclusively with IHG and very often. The woman at the desk is so kind and accommodating. The breakfast attendants as well, they were always making sure everything was clean and fresh, and making sure you had everything you need and I didn’t expect that because I’ve never experienced that at a Holliday Inn before so it was a really pleasant shock! I loved it. The rooms are clean, the hallways are quiet, and as a night shift nurse I sleep during the daytime and it can be hard to sleep with noise but I rarely heard anything even though the place was booked. 10/10 stay if you’re in the Kingston area would highly recommend. I love that they also keep lemon water in the lobby at all times it was a beautiful little touch.

  My review is specifically regarding Beverly's extremely appalling poor customer service. She was working the front desk on June 3rd when I called. I had a wedding on June 6th in the area and I had a hotel mixup TWO DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING for my mom and relatives staying there. I also had an entire room block for my wedding over there so I had around 15 people staying at your hotel. My mom made a mistake and indicated that she thought she had an extra room booked under my name and so I cancelled one of them. I immediately realized my mistake and called the front desk at HIE and Beverly picked up. She said she would fix it immediately and hung up rather than having me wait on the phone. I then called back 10 minutes later and she told me she could not restore the room because rates had increased to $1,000 a night and she said my wedding block no longer applied. I panicked and asked her whether I could talk to the manager and she promptly hung up on me. I didn't want to FURTHER ruin my night because her behavior was already indicative of how continued conversations would go. But she acted in bad faith initially and then her true colors showed later on. EVEN if you could not do anything, at least act like a human being and be courteous. It is my wedding in two days and I made an honest mistake. I later booked an airbnb. I personally stayed at the Courtyard Mariott in Kingston. I would HIGHLY recommend the Couryard Mariott over the Holiday Inn Express given the extremely unkind customer service displayed by Beverly.
