  Terrible - do not stay at this hotel. All night loud noises from the lobby and no one answers. Will definitely not stay here again

  Usually I don't stay in this part of New York. When I visit, but I was here on a business trip. And this is like right up the street from the train or the public transportation, the system that gets you to and from the Airport, very close. Decent area, I mean, for the most part, there's probably pretty much everywhere so people won't really mess with you unless you're looking for trouble

  I give this hotel an overall 2 star because the breakfast was decent. We had last minute plans and had to book this location since it was closest to where we had to go. Unfortunately this was one of the worst holiday inn I have ever stayed at. Outside the hotel was filthy, I know they can’t fully control that but it was extremely bad, not to mention they do not have a parking lot/garage which made it difficult to find parking and it cost money to park on the road in NY. The room was dirty and dusty, the a/c was unplugged so it was very hot in the room. The fridge was also unplugged and some of the shelves were broken or missing including the freezer tray which we needed for our ice pack since we drove and had to bring a cooler with us. The microwave was also dirty and had a huge stain inside. The sheet on one of the bed also had a stain on it. We were able to get clean sheets brought to us but they took a while.

  I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and always have a pleasant experience. I love that it’s walking distance from Jamaica station. The first time I stayed I had a small room, but second time it was spacious. There is a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the rooms. Staff is friendly and check-in is always a breeze. I am a fan of all IHG hotels especially Holiday Inns.

  To the night manager on duty 8/6 into 8/7. From the bottom of my heart thank you. After a long day of flight delays and cancelations, you went out of your way to make sure I was accommodated and saved my night and my trip. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the air was so cold. Would stay any time.
