  This is an awesome place. I missed my flight and found this very convenient location very close to the Jamaica air train station. It’s probably 5 mins walk from the station. However, I wouldn’t recommend to walk at night from the station, it was a bit scary due to people using drugs and doing other things on the street. The hotel is very good and has breakfast included. People are very nice.

  This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The first room they assigned me looked like it had never been cleaned after the previous guest left — it honestly felt like someone was still living there. I went back to the front desk and the second room they gave me was also dirty and unacceptable. The hotel was also extremely noisy. Since they couldn’t provide a quieter room with two beds, I made what I believe was a completely reasonable request: I asked for two separate rooms on the quieter side of the hotel instead. They acted like this was too much to ask, even after all the problems we had already experienced. After wasting so much time, I finally asked a front desk employee to personally come upstairs with me to inspect rooms because clearly nobody was checking them before assigning them to guests. They explained they didn’t have available rooms with two beds, which made the entire situation even more frustrating. To make matters worse, I requested a refund because the experience was completely unacceptable, and they refused. The manager never once spoke to me directly. I was told the manager would call me back, but nobody ever called. Later, I found out the hotel told IHG that the manager had already spoken with me, which was completely false. This hotel is dirty, noisy, disorganized, and dishonest. Management avoids accountability and clearly does not care about guests once they have your money. Do not trust this hotel. I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

  First off when you call front desk from your room they never answer. Secondly the Pillows smells so BADDDDD. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING BACK TO THIS HOTEL I FOUND A NEWER HOTEL ABOUT 5 MIN AWAY DRIVING IT’S BEAUTIFUL LUXURY & CLEAN LA QUINTA INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM QUEENS NYC/JFK PRICES IS BETTER IS NEWLY OPENED 4 MONTHS NOW I TOOK A TOUR YESTERDAY AND I’LL BE STAYING THERE FROM NOW ON.

  I didn't have any booking was just a walk in guest. Was treated well. Price was 150+taxes. Which I think is reasonable. The room was clean,bed comfy. Breakfast was good. Located near Airtrain station in Jamaica. If you have a long layover in JFK this can be a great place to rest. The Air train takes to JFK in 15 min max.

  No hotel parking available. Guests must use paid street parking, and the hotel does not guarantee vehicle safety. For such a big brand like Holiday Inn, they should have their own parking facility. Two male reception staff members in the morning, including Gary, were rude and unhelpful. They need proper customer service training and should know how to speak respectfully to guests. I called from my room asking for more coffee because the coffee provided in the room had finished. The receptionist told me to come to the lobby. When I went there, he then told me to use the coffee in my room, even after I explained it was already finished. I also asked for water and was told I would have to purchase it. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn locations in Canada where unlimited coffee, green tea, and beverages were available. Here, guests only get the limited coffee in the room unless they buy more. Communication from reception staff was poor and difficult to understand. Since they are the front face of the hotel, they should communicate clearly and professionally. They were unhelpful and rude. The room was clean, but the bathroom was small. The heater in my room was not working. I called at night and again in the morning, but nobody answered or called back. The fridge light also did not work. Overall, very poor service. Breakfast was buffet style. I would not stay here again.
