- JMJennifer Levy McClellan4 days ago1.0Arrived with my husband and three kids only to find that the “suite” we booked was not a suite at all but a regular hotel room with a couch. When we expressed that this did not coincide with the pictures online when we booked, we were met with attitude and apathy. The gentleman at the desk offered to cancel our reservation and I thanked him but asked him to please wait for a moment so that we could secure other accommodations. Instead- he canceled our room and then forcefully demanded that we leave the premises -my husband was sitting with my kids working on trying to book something somewhere else at the last minute. My kids were freaked out by the ordeal. Honestly have never been treated so poorly at a hotel… I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned. Based on the staff person’s demeanor, I wouldn’t book with Holiday Inn again. I have to admit that I didn’t have super high expectations obviously but we did expect common courtesy which we did not receive at this location.
- SSSam SabinApr 28, 20261.0From the very start of booking this hotel it was a bad experience. I kept on getting hung up on by the agent and each subsequent quote was 50$ more. I decided to stay here anyway and Cam at the front desk was nothing but confrontational and petty. He claimed I yelled at him for 15 minutes. Our conversation wasn’t more than 3 minutes. I didn’t get agitated until he made this absurd claim and kept repeating ‘it’s all on camera!’. I simply explained my experience and would have been satisfied with an apology since in theory he was representing the company. Unfortunately that was too much to ask and maybe the poor guy isn’t ready for the front desk at Holiday Inn Express.
