  Even if someone is giving you free stay in this hotel do not go, unless they get rid of front desk attendant "kam", we checked in found , refrigerator not cleaned , toilet paper roll used , toilet not flushing . we reported this issue to front desk, maintenance team came up and resolved issue, again few hours passed same issue with toilet not flushing. we reported this to front desk, And we got response that left us shocked. Kam said there is no maintenance team , at 7pm they have gone home and we need to wait untill next morning, I said I have kids where will we go incase we need use toilet , he said use guest toilet located at main floor. he didn't even bother to give us other room . we logged compliant to corporate office about his behavior . Then the sales manager Her name is " Taylor" heard us, in no time she came and saw the problem and right away took initiative . she took plunger from maintenance room and helped to resolve the issue. I really thanked her for care and response. The breakfast section is good, some experience staff managing it very well.

  Location is ok and easy to get to. Ithaca is not so large that you can’t get somewhere relatively quick. It is right next to the highway and we were in that side. Starting at about 4:45-5a the traffic noise really picked up. It’s cheaper than staying at one of the hotels in the Commons. Service was decent, so I’d say average. Breakfasts were good with a nice variety. ROOMS. We booked 2 rooms for the family. These are the standard Holiday Inn rooms. 0 stars beyond that. Our door would not close so we had to always pull it shut. For whatever reason, both rooms were ?? Pumped with humidity. I walked barefoot and the floor was tacky. My clothes felt damp. Just not a good experience. I’ve stayed at a good number of Holiday Inns and this one falls to the bottom in my opinion.

  Rooms are clean, lots of breakfast options (6am-10am), friendly staff. The women that work the breakfast area are so sweet! Approximate distance to state parks: - Buttermilk Falls: 0.5 mile, 2 min - Robert H. Treman: 2 miles, 5 min - Taughannock: 11 miles, 14 min - Watkins Glen: 26 miles, 35 min Wegmans is right down the road. Ithaca Commons/downtown is about 8 minutes away. Close to so many thrift stores!! Really a great location. Typical hotel noise, can definitely hear people walking above you. A bit noisy at night (they can’t control when guests go to bed!) but they left eye/sleep masks & earplugs in the room when we checked in. Cookies available in the afternoon. We weren’t there much, but overall enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

  Trying to check in. 1 employee working and 1 person infront of me. Taking 30 minutes and the guy at the desk gave me a dirty look like what did I want... very annoying

  We stayed here twice this year. The location is relatively close to the local attractions but the hotel itself is not well kept. The first stay the pool heater was broken and the pool was freezing, I have little ones and they really were looking forward to it. The second stay we spent more for a better room but the carpet was sticky with dirt, the blinds were broken and the walls were paper thin leaving us sleepless from the noisy neighbor and bright morning sun. The hotel did nothing when they were informed, disgraced the brand. Plenty of other options in the area and we do not recommend this hotel.
