  Great stay at Best Western Plus Horseheads - Elmira. Thanks to Jason for an easy check in and a very welcoming experience. He pointed us to great restaurant options and things to do along our trip. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and easily one of the best ones I've had. Couldn't recommend this spot more!

  I actually never got to stay due to a last minute injury, but I must credit the incredibly helpful front desk (Jason) and management to help refund a prepaid non-refundable booking without any friction whatsoever. Best Western is typically not a hotel that I stay at frequently, but this is the place that I will stay anytime I am in the area. Ever so grateful for such a fantastic management and customer facing team at this hotel. These are good, classy people!

  Heather and Jason, plus a very clean and well ran hotel makes this review 5 out of 5 🌟 My first impression pulling in was okay okay okay.... great lighting. I appreciate the safe feeling i had this hotel. Once I stepped inside, I was excited to stay. Even with a sports tournament going on, the hotel was very clean. When I got to the front counter, I met jason.He was very very friend. If you're a member of best western, then you get a couple of options on free snacks when you check in. I was not a member, but jason helped me with a very positive attitude become one quickly. The snacks were great!! Jason took extra time to make sure I had my new best western reward number and wrote it down for me. When I got up to my room. It was very large and it smelled great. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were perfect. Our entire stay was really wonderful. We ran into a pickle sunday. We ended up having to stay a little bit later. When I went down to the front desk, Heather made the process so easy. She was so very kind, quick and efficient. At the end, she made me feel so at ease. I ended up thankking her later again for the happy. They have a very cute smiley face.Planter that was stationed on her desk. I made mention that the planter was super cute.And she told me that she brought it in from home. That makes me so excited for this establishment. Anytime you have employees wanting to make things better and in such a caring and kind way, everyone wins!! Thank you Best Western ✋️

  Prior to checking in and throughout the check in process we had an issue; however we were extremely grateful and thankful to Nicole at the front desk for resolving this issue in a positive manner for all involved upon our check out. By addressing this issue with Nicole, instead of rushing to leave a negative review online, it was handled in a way that served as a confirmation to us that the Best Western values their customers as much as we value and appreciate their hospitality and accommodations. As far as the hotel itself the breakfast had an array of hot and cold options, ample seating and was clean. The indoor pool area looked clean, inviting and offered several lounge chairs to rest on. Our favorite part of the hotel was the hidden gem in the rear parking lot area. To our surprise we found several outdoor tables and chairs set up underneath a lighted pergola. It was a nice quiet place for our family to come together and relax after a long day. Thanks to Nicole’s customer service and courteous resolution of this matter we would stay at this hotel again. Thank you Nicole and the Best Western Plus for reminding us why the Best Western is our choice hotel.

  After spending several months at the Best Western Plus Horseheads/Elmira throughout 2026 for business, I can say without hesitation that this is one of the best-managed hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. What sets this property apart isn't just the clean, comfortable rooms or the consistently excellent breakfast—it's the people. You can tell there is a culture of genuine hospitality that starts with the leadership and carries through every member of the team. Manager Susan deserves tremendous credit. Creating a hotel experience this consistently positive over the course of months doesn't happen by accident. It reflects outstanding leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to both guests and employees. Nichole is an absolute superstar. She consistently goes above and beyond with a warm smile, a positive attitude, and an incredible willingness to help. She has a remarkable ability to make every guest feel welcomed and valued, and she's exactly the kind of employee every hotel hopes to have. Jason and Lee were equally outstanding. Both were consistently professional, friendly, and eager to assist whenever I needed anything. Every interaction reinforced the feeling that the staff truly cares about providing exceptional service rather than simply doing a job. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean, quiet, and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas are spotless, and everything is run with a level of professionalism that many higher-priced hotels would do well to emulate. As someone who spends a significant amount of time traveling for business, I've stayed in more hotels than I can count. Very few leave a lasting impression. This one certainly has. The Best Western Plus Horseheads/Elmira has become my home away from home whenever I'm in the area, and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. My sincere thanks to Susan, Nichole, Jason, Lee, and the entire team for making every stay such a consistently outstanding experience. You have earned both my loyalty and my highest recommendation.
