Very frustrating that you pay over $500 a night for a hotel for the pool to close at 4pm. Spent all day at the park with the intention of letting my kids come back and swim when the pool closed at 7 the night prior which is also early but I guess acceptable, but the pool is closed. Then they charge another near $50 a night to park. They advertise fire pits but there’s only 4 of them. It’s very overpriced for what you get. You expect the amenities that they advertise would be accessible when you pay for them. We have been to places like Great Wolf Lodge, Kalahari, Hershey, Disney, (all cheaper than here btw and more enjoyable) I would except a legoland hotel to have more activities when the park closes which is 5pm. They don’t have much, and you can’t even use the pool. What a joke.

We recently stayed at the LEGOLAND Hotel and overall, I would give the hotel itself 2 out of 5 stars.
The hotel is beautifully designed and definitely has a fun, LEGO-themed atmosphere that the kids loved. The park itself was amazing the attractions were fun, entertaining, and our kids had a great time. We would definitely come back for the park!
However, for the price we paid for one night, I expected much more from the hotel.
One of the biggest disappointments was the cleanliness of the hallways. There were garbage bags and trash left throughout the hallways near the rooms, which really took away from the experience and made the hotel feel less maintained than I expected.
The breakfast at Bricks Restaurant was advertised as complimentary, but while the basic breakfast was included, anything extra came with an additional charge. For the price of the hotel, I don’t feel that this should be considered a truly complimentary breakfast. I would expect a more complete breakfast to be included.
Another major issue was having to pay separately for park admission. Considering how expensive the hotel stay already is, I was surprised that admission to LEGOLAND wasn’t included with the hotel stay. For what we paid for one night, I expected the park tickets to be part of the package or at least a more substantial benefit for hotel guests.
That being said, the kids absolutely loved the experience, and the park itself was definitely worth visiting. The hotel is also beautifully themed and designed, which made the stay exciting for the children.
Overall, we loved LEGOLAND and had a great time at the park, but the hotel was simply not worth the price we paid for one night. With better cleanliness, a more complete complimentary breakfast, and park admission included, I think the experience would have been much more worthwhile.

Genuinely enjoyed our stay. It's ridiculously expensive, but we wanted the full experience and got it.
When we booked, only castle rooms were available, which meant a long walk from the lobby and a first floor room. Not our favorite, but not the hotel's fault. Room decor was as expected, great details and fully themed. The bunk bed ladder was a bit rough on bare feet (metal rungs, not very wide), but the bin of Legos in the room was a great touch.
Housekeeping was slow, but I'm not knocking a star for it. Staff was ridiculously friendly and clearly working hard. The bar is great, and the pool guards ran a tight, well-managed ship, which I appreciated.
The play area in the middle of the lobby was a mixed bag. Like a lot of public play spaces, some poorly supervised kids were throwing blocks and ruining it for others. Wish the pool guards' level of oversight extended there.
Food options at the hotel are rough.
If you're not doing this trip often, staying at the hotel for the full experience is worth it despite the cost.

The best thing about the resort is its walking distance to the park. It’s definitely not worth the price I would do one night tops. The room was nice because of the theme but the bathroom needed work rusted showering rods bathroom door messed up needed painting. The food was ok. They need to expand the play area because once the park closes and everybody comes in the hotel it gets very packed in the play area. It begins to feel like everybody on top of each other. At the end of the day my kid was happy which is the most important thing but lego resort definitely overcharges and the quality doesn’t meet the price you pay. Also be carefully with parking and coming and going they hit you over the head just to park there for your stay

DO NOT STAY HERE! While the park is absolutely worth it, the hotel is not. It’s definitely overpriced for how small it is, awful food, dirty rooms, and lack of activities. Wish we stayed at the Kartrite Resort instead and just came here for the park.
