This was, without a doubt, one of the most overpriced hotel experiences we've ever had. We paid nearly $1,000 for one night (and 2 days on park), expecting a premium family resort. Instead, we found a very small room that was noticeably dusty. It honestly looked like it hadn't had a proper wet cleaning in a long time-dust was visible on the furniture and mirrors, and you could actually see it floating in the air. The hotel is beautifully themed, and younger children who love LEGO will probably enjoy the decorations. Unfortunately, that's where most of the positives end. The pool is designed almost entirely for small children. It's only about 4 feet deep, making it impossible for adults to actually swim or relax after a long day in the park. By around 5 PM, there were no towels left. The so-called fitness center is honestly a joke. It's basically a tiny storage room with two treadmills and a handful of dumbbells. Calling it a gym is misleading. Wi-Fi is included, but the connection was slow and unreliable. Around the pool, it barely worked at all. Parking is another disappointment. Even after paying nearly $1,000 for a room, parking is not included. You'll pay $38 for the regular lot or $58 if you want to park closer to the hotel. This isn't Manhattan—it's a resort surrounded by open land—yet guests are still charged extra for basic parking. Even many budget hotels under $100 per night offer complimentary parking. The hotel perfectly reflects the overall philosophy of the resort: almost every convenience comes with another extra charge. If your child is 3–5 years old and absolutely obsessed with LEGO, they may enjoy the themed rooms. For everyone else, especially families with older children, I simply cannot justify the price. The room, amenities, cleanliness, and overall service are nowhere near what you should expect for nearly $1,000 per night. We will not be returning.

Mixed Review – LEGOLAND New York Park & Hotel I really wanted to love LEGOLAND New York, but for the price, the overall experience was disappointing. The LEGO theme is fantastic, and my kids loved it, but the quality and service don't match the premium cost. Many employees were friendly, but several seemed untrained and couldn't answer basic questions. At the park entrance, the employee scanning tickets (Austin) was unwelcoming and didn't even respond after I said "thank you" twice. The lack of hospitality starts at the hotel. Instead of being greeted, you're directed to a self-service check-in kiosk. The dining area wasn't consistently clean, some carpets felt damp, and breakfast even ran out of orange juice because we were told the delivery truck never arrived. Restaurant staff themselves acknowledged there were areas needing improvement see pictures as well as the upcharged 15.00 pancakes that had chocolate chips in a little cup off to the side. The dance party was underwhelming, and the pool closes at 8 p.m. With the park open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there's barely enough time to eat dinner and enjoy the pool. The costs keep adding up: $38 per day for parking, expensive food, and even a souvenir chicken bucket was $55.99. The "Kids Stay & Play Free" promotion didn't feel like much of a deal once everything else was added. I honestly believe if corporate leadership experienced the resort as regular guests, they'd be disappointed by how far the experience falls short of the price. The concept is amazing, but the execution needs significant improvement.

We were excited to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at LEGOLAND Hotel in Goshen, NY, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The room itself was nice, clean, and comfortable. The highlight of the hotel was definitely the elevators—they turn into a fun dance floor with music, and that was by far our favorite part of the stay. Unfortunately, the service did not match the experience we expected. The staff was generally not very welcoming, and when we asked the manager to clarify a question a second time, they were dismissive and came across as rude instead of helpful. What was especially disappointing was the lack of recognition for my daughter’s birthday. We purchased an $86 birthday package, including a birthday pin, yet not a single staff member acknowledged her special day with a simple “Happy Birthday.” For a family-focused hotel that markets magical experiences for children, that small gesture would have meant so much. Overall, the room was good, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. We expected a warmer, more memorable experience, especially for a birthday celebration.

We went back in May for two nights but it was ruined due to rain so couldn’t enjoy the park much we booked a second trip for three nights in July and it was perfect except for the cancellation of the fireworks which never got rescheduled. First time we stayed in friends room and my daughter and son loved it truly an amazing experience they will cherish forever we all got emotional leaving because there was so much to do and it was cut short so I booked a se one trip first off this is not a three star hotel this is a 4 star easily it has a castle in the lobby a bar a restaurant an arcade a shop that sells pajamas slippers Lego sets snacks and more there’s fire pits a pool a gym on site laundry vending machines ice machines and themed rooms. The staff is so friendly the showers are hot and awesome water pressure the bathroom is huge the kids have there own area with tv bunk beds and Lego pit there’s scavenger hunts. Find Mr gold and play a fun lobby game for a prize. Figure out the safe code to get some goodie bags. We loved it going back in October ! The lacking is the buffet but really when you get a free breakfast $100 a night for dinner isn’t bad kids eat what they want and everyone is happy. Loved it loved it can’t say enough good things.
