  I think they got new management. I’m not sure what the other negative reviews are about. Great place, affordable for NYC, and most importantly, clean, with friendly staff. There’s a shuttle from the airport and back. What else do you need? Thank you, guys!

  This turned out to be a surprisingly great find for my NY trip. I read plenty of reviews before making the decision to book for three nights and it was the right move. The hotel experience was better than expected and the property exceeded my expectations. Once at the second floor lobby you feel this great smell that creates a good atmosphere and nothing like the cleaning products other places expose you to upon arrival. The front desk was welcoming and when I asked for a room with a window they granted my wish. But the room was a winner. Extremely clean, great beds, eye catching wall decor and a modern bathroom. Plenty of good quality towels and also good size. I slept like a baby with the comfortable pillows. My favorite area was the rooftop lounge. That was the highlight of Voco Fiorello. Well appointed indoor and outdoor areas, great bar and personable service. The views were worth the visit. I read negative reviews and have to wonder...why?? One review complained about a strange noise all night and, I happened to hear a strange nonstop noise even with my a/c off. Guess what, I realized in the morning I had the bathroom fan on all night by pure accident. We travelers do have problems dealing with all the switches in hotel rooms and that can happen. But the Voco allowed me to use two shower heads, gave me a perfectly clean room and the chance to check out using the TV. Trust me, this is a great place and I will return to it soon enough. I heard some noise from the kareoke but not too intense from room 224. Probably depends on your location. Give this hotel a chance and you will not be disappointed. My NY family members were surprised and impressed by my find in College Point.Lucky me!

  Left a review on Expedia and the hotel responded with I asked for compensation which I haven’t at all. That’s 100 percent false . Leaving a review here . Rooms was horrible. I DID ask the cleaner lady when she knocked on my door to clean my room and opened the door and showed her things. We left. We came back and she had left towels that’s it. I also spoke with a man about our room. The rooftop restaurant was closed on sat and that wasn’t told to us until we went up and had a sign saying closed. The walls are paper thin. Heard the couple in the room beside us. Please see pics. Pubic hairs everywhere . If it wasn’t for my daughter being at the same hotel obviously I would have left but …. The smell from the drain on the floor in the bathroom was overwhelming. I covered it with 2 towels and the trash can. Def check review and pics. Attached many pics

  Pleased with the price, location near the airport, and cleanliness of the hotel. Andrew was attentive, conscientious and informative. He treats each guest with kindness and respect. The bathroom is clean and the coffee machine has the espresso pods. Turns out a better than average coffee in a snap. Best hotel room coffee I’ve ever had.

  I had the pleasure of staying here for the past two days, and the customer service was truly phenomenal. Although my initial room had a few mechanical issues due to the hotel being sold out, the situation was handled promptly and I was moved to a room that fully met my standards. A special thank you to Kristi and Andrew at the front desk—they were exceptional, answering all of my questions and addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner. Victor and the rest of the staff were equally impressive; every interaction I had outside of my room was warm and welcoming. The team at Voco truly goes above and beyond to meet guests’ needs. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast options were plentiful. Thank you all for such a great experience—I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!
