  The hotel itself isn’t bad. There are a lot of eating options nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a “city view” room that was very noisy, it was impossible to sleep. The road noise never seemed to end, people driving up and down on scooters that seemed to have no muffler. After to scooters stopped the loud music started, I think from a club upstairs. Even with white noise from my iPad I could hear, and feel the music. It’s really frustrating being dead tired and not being able to sleep because of all of this noise. If I had to stay here again I’d pick an interior room and hope for the best.

  The hotel has a modern look and, more importantly, very clean. The only issues that I had was the air conditioning unit in my room. Regardless of what temperature I adjusted it to, the thermostat indicated that the room temperature was 76°F. It also ran very loudly the entire time. If possible, at time of booking, I highly recommend adding breakfast to the reservation. The breakfast option was fantastic and well worth the money. Parking is provided in a private lot that is shared with other businesses within the same building as the hotel. With hotel validated parking, the cost is beyond reasonable for city parking. I will gladly stay here again in my future visits.

  A lot of hotels have sprung up over the years but this one was most promising with good amount of parking at a nice $1 per hour rate and it did not disappoint even as we were there on the 4th of July. The room was well kept and clean. Kristi at the reception desk was super nice and patient with all our questions that she probably hears all day and we instantly felt welcome. The night shift associate was also super nice. And it seems the maintenance and cleaning teams are very diligent at what they do. Overall, great impressions through and through. Likely to be my go to place for a while when we stay in Flushing.

  Great room, great staff (Late Night Friday Check In -- cannot remember her name but He-Ya!) The neighborhood is industrial and one of the streets stunk like fish but otherwise, all good. Here's the Breakdown: Comfy room with great staff and a nice rooftop run by a cool dude +4 stars. The fish stink dinged a star.

  This hotel will give you the runaround on their cancelation policy. I called and spoke ti Cristy because my flight was canceled. She assured me that she would speak to Lamar about an exception, after confirming the same with Expedia. In person, Christy again represented that she would "take care of us." An hour later, she left without updating us as promised. A complete bait and switch on the policy. Expedia directed us to speak with the hotel. The hotel directed us to speak with Expedia. After talking to both parties, no one is willing to help despite prior representations that they would refund the first night because the flight was canceled through no fault of our own. The staff is dishonest. The bathtub has hair from prior guests in it. I don't recommend.
